Hello All! Philip's England is an alternate history campaign using the Renaissance Deluxe System by Cakebread and Walton, and asks the question - "What if the Spanish Armada succeeded?" The year is 1590 and the English Crown has been claimed by Philip II of Spain who now wishes to make England a province of the Habsburg Empire. Yet all is not lost, as the forces loyal to the Virgin Queen - who has been locked in the Tower of London - were not all destroyed. Scattered yes, but Old England still lives on in the hearts of many and they merely need the chance to take hold of the situation and fight back against the imposition of popery on the Sceptered Isle. Players will take the role of those working against the Spanish; as members of the English resistance, or Scottish Agents who wish to Undermine the Spanish, or Dutch Protestants seeking to aide England in the eventual goal to throw the Spanish out of the Low Countries. The campaign itself will have roleplay on centre stage. The Game will take place on Tuesday Evenings at 8 PM GMT, and sessions will run roughly 3-4 hours on average.
