My creative juices have been flowing like crazy for awhile for either a good DND game or a Cthulhu game. I have been roleplaying for years, and I’m a theater kid so I am the player who will actually act out my character and not just make small ‘John does this’ type actions. I prefer story over murderhobo simulator, and mesh well with groups who combine silliness and seriousness (Actually get invested in the world, actually moved if someone dies... but doesn’t question the Bard stealing spoons.) I can roll up any type of character and usually provide a paragraph or more backstory depending. With DND I have minimal 5E experience but I can roll a character without help, and own all the books. Cthulhu I have never played, but have access to the books. For DND I prefer long term campaigns but I’ll play in some modules or smaller games. Not big into one shots. For Cthulhu however I’m down for one shots or long term. I am a stay at home parent, but am my wife’s dedicated driver to and from work. Her schedule fluctuates and at times I may have to ask for a 30 minute break, but it’s highly unlikely. I am CST, and her shift is usually morning, while games for me are usually timed to be later. But we can work it out if necessary.
