Hello heroes! I'm starting a brand new homebrew campaign playing weekly on Thursday nights 8 or 9pm PST/ 11 or 12 EST. Looking for 3 more players to fill out our party (will be a total of 6), ideally 1 guy and 2 gals. I'm hoping to have a session zero tomorrow night or next week Thursday if our group isn't fully filled out by then. About Me I'm still fairly new to DM'ing on roll20 but have been playing 5e for close to 2 years now. I'm very familiar with the rules and tend to stick pretty close to them but I will allow players to TRY to do pretty much anything. I enjoy seeing creative characters and creative solutions, not every encounter necessarily needs to be solved through brute force and violence. I will try to describe the surroundings with as much detail as possible but questions from players help fill out the world in everyone's mind. About the Game This game will take place on the gritty continent of Wraeclast, where all kinds of untold horrors can be found. I will design encounters to be dangerous but fair and I don't believe in cheating dice rolls to save players from dire consequences. Teamwork and creativity will be necessary on a weekly basis to keep everyone alive. This world is steeped in deep lore that will be revealed to you gradually. I will periodically give handouts of useful knowledge you've discovered about the world around you, but it is highly encouraged to take some notes and pay attention to the story as it unfolds. While you will be allowed to explore most of the world, there will not be complex individual story arcs that tie in to character backgrounds. Ideal Players The ideal players that I'm looking for enjoy roleplaying creative characters and play true to the personality of that character. Having some experience with 5e is a big plus. Player punctuality is a big deal to me, missing more than 2 sessions without a heads up will result in being replaced. I put in a considerable amount of time preparing each session and want players that are respectful of both my own and other players time. I also hope to find players who are open to giving me honest feedback about how I'm running the game, if there are any complaints, suggestions, or homebrew ideas I am more than happy to hear them privately in a DM. Hoping to find 2 gals and 1 guy ideally to fill out the rest of the party but I will consider all applicants. If you are interested in joining this game,  please post a response with the following info as an application: Name: Age: Gender: A memorable moment from a past d&d:  Character Idea:
Hello my name is RangerPirate, you can learn my real name if you accept me. I am 22 years old. I am male One of my characters was tricked into drinking a homebrew grog of whimsy and his arms fell off and he grew massive handlebar mustache arms that full functioned as arms and with no strength loss. I had a Goliath Barbarian who was a monster hunter specializing in werewolves. He was himself a werewolf but had control of his transformation and was a good guy. He had been trained by the order of lycan of the blood hunters so he can control the transformation but was required to consume a humanoid heart every few days to maintain this control. Or I can go with my typical Goliath barbarian sailor (basically a viking) who takes heads as trophies.
Still looking for 2 more players!
Hey,  Semi-new to DnD here, have been playing on and off for years. The timeframe you have works wonders for my own schedule and I would love to join! I once befriended an NPC magical robot that turned evil towards the end of the campaign, but was able to turn it back to our side due to a piece of chocolate I saved from one campfire night where I tried to teach what humanity and life is to the robot...he remembered! Then proceeded to rip goblin's arms off. I am male 34 so hopefully there is still room?

I am also male, 22, gmed for a short while and have played 5e for a year Former experience: My main experience was as a hooded fighter with a background in crime, who performed some petty crime that spiraled out of control at the start of the campaign. The situation ended up requiring an exorcism that only a high priest could perform, but eventually the platinum dragon was the one who intervened and my character turned into a champion of righteousness thereafter. Idea: My main idea right now is a fighter who comes from a magical family, but could not do magic himself but found himself to be a great physical warrior. His main goal and aspiration is to gather magical artifacts and learn all he can about the arcane to perhaps gain the magical prowess that he believes is his birthright. He is also extremely good looking and appreciates beauty, such as fine art and treasures. I hope I can join despite the fact that it seems the sole male role has been filled, thank you.
