Allow tokens that don't emit light to see advanced fog of war?

I've been toying around with advanced fog of war, but I've noticed that when global illumination is turned off, only tokens that emit light are able to see the greyed out map where they've been. Is there any way to allow tokens that don't emit light to see the same?

Tokens that have sight and were in an illuminated area should be able to retain what they have seen. Does this not match the behavior you are experiencing?
It does not. I'll reply to this post again with screenshots later tonight

OK, but I hope someone with more experience in AFoW comes along on this thread. I don't use it so my knowledge is limited.

Alright, here goes. In the areas I need bright light, I have torch tokens on the dynamic lighting layer, pictured here . These each have a radius of about 1000 feet for both bright and dim light. Here you can see that Fumbus sees the AFoW like normal. Here you can see what Amiri sees, and it's solid black. These are the lighting settings for the page. Here is the settings for Fumbus' token, and here is the settings for Amiri's. As you can see, the only difference between them is that Fumbus emits light, which makes sense as he has darkvision while Amiri doesn't.
