Roll20 App

I posted a topic about how the app wasn't working on my iPad ( iPad stuck on loading ) and got a response from a mod closing the thread and asking me to post any further discussion on  Workarounds for Issues with the iPad Roll20 App , where I can't actually post any questions because it's also closed. That thread says  we have decided not to remove the app from the App Store entirely since this issue only affects sheets which utilize the Charactermancer. If your game uses any other sheet, the iPad app should still function as expected. First, I didn't have the chance to open a sheet with Charactermancer because the game wouldn't load at all. Given, I was originally using the Charactermancer eligible sheets in the game so I tried turning that off, and then changing the sheet entirely but that didn't help. Just in case the original Charactermancer sheet bugged the whole game, I made an entirely new game with a different sheet but it still won't load on my iPad. I have two questions regarding the app, is there a way to have the iPad app "function as expected"? If the iPad app is a total loss right now, then does it work properly on Android? I'm open to buying an Android tablet if it actually works since I only use my tablet for D&D anyway.
Hi Bridget -  Our sincerest apologies for the confusion and trouble! I think there may have been a misunderstanding on our end with the baseline problem you were experiencing. Let's take a look and see if we can't get this figured out for you. Going forward, for confirmation, were you experiencing these issues when using our Table on Tablet feature - I.e. you logged onto Roll20 using your iPad's browser? Or were you experiencing this issue with our mobile application that you can download off of the App Store? Once we have that confirmation, we can best figure out how to move forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Not a problem! I was using the mobile app on my iPad Pro. I do want to say I ended up buying a Galaxy Tab for the Android app and it works like a dream but in case other people are having trouble, it would be nice to get the app working on the iPad.

I’m also experiencing an issue on the iPad.  It used to work, but now simply gets stuck on loading. It’s been like this for some months.  I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but no joy.  Any help greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone -  Hmmm very strange. Overall, our current app is outdated and having some problems, so we are actually in the process of a total rewrite for it. We really apologize for the trouble with this current issue. If you get the opportunity, would you mind providing additional information, as listed below, please? I'll go ahead and escalate this to app development team for further investigation. Thanks! What was the iPad model you experienced this with? i.e. iPad Air 2, iPad Mini, etc. What version of iOS is your iPad running? When did you first notice this issue start occurring?
I’ve been having an issue as well with my 5th generation iPad running the version 13.2.2 OS. Every time I go to log into my campaign it gets stuck on loading and opens a safari page to&nbsp; <a href="https://js.stripe.com/v2/m/outer.html#url=https%3A%2F%2Fapp.roll20.net%2Fcompendium%2F%3Finapp%3Dtrue&amp;title=Roll20%20Compendium&amp;referrer=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%3A54720%2Fsrc%2Fapp.html%3Fcampaignid%3D3199910&amp;muid=8af22f82-46af-4b42-91a9-30901ae23e57&amp;sid=1151a481-b688-43fa-b913-b801bde92d18&amp;preview=false" rel="nofollow">https://js.stripe.com/v2/m/outer.html#url=https%3A%2F%2Fapp.roll20.net%2Fcompendium%2F%3Finapp%3Dtrue&amp;title=Roll20%20Compendium&amp;referrer=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%3A54720%2Fsrc%2Fapp.html%3Fcampaignid%3D3199910&amp;muid=8af22f82-46af-4b42-91a9-30901ae23e57&amp;sid=1151a481-b688-43fa-b913-b801bde92d18&amp;preview=false</a> . This issue in particular has been happening to me and my players for the last 2 weeks or so.
