I've been going crazy trying to show a character sheet to my players. What am I doing wrong?

TL;DR I can't show a character sheet to my players. Clicking "show to players" literally does nothing. Issue applies to all players and all sheets. I can put the sheet in their library manually, but then all they can see is the first tab ("bio", the one I always leave empty because the character sheet template I use has its own internal bio tab that's much more useful). I want to show the whole sheet . So far the only way I can figure showing a sheet is literally giving them control over the character itself, which is obviously not what I want to do. I know I'm missing something obvious here, but I just can't figure out what that is. Why does the "show to players" button do nothing?

There's no way to show the character sheet tab to players without giving them edit rights over the character sheet. Yes, it is an irritating limitation. What you could do is make a copy of the character sheet, and give them edit rights over that.
Irritating, but workable. Copies it is, thank you.
