I am the DM of a D&D 5E DiA game that is kicking off next Wednesday and will typically run from 6 to 9 California time. We have a nearly full group of players, but at the last minute my friend Ashley dropped out. We're now sadly left with 3 players, and no ladies :( We're looking for 1 or 2 players to finish up the party. We currently have 3 experienced players in our 20's and 30's who are all long-time friends. The group so far: Nick as Lysandra Halcyon the Lawful Good Paladin Sean as Nine Lives the Neutral Tabaxi Monk Brian as Damakos the Lawful Evil Tiefling Warlock About the Game I'm 29M in Oakland CA and an experienced DM of many games, but mostly D&D 4e and 5e. I've DMed most of the 5e modules to their completion at least once, and I'm excited to get in to my first play through of Descent into Avernus. I've mostly DMed in person and through Tabletop Simulator (on Steam) and am somewhat new to DMing on roll20. I strongly encourage players to RP and I love to reward inspiration when my players do so both in and out of combat- narrating your attack with a succinct flourish is a great way to earn advantage! Character voices will never be mocked, and always met with encouragement. We like to occasionally break character, and mild amounts of out-of-character meta-gaming is typically allowed. I lean 60/40 in RP to Combat focus in my games. I use voice mods to manipulate my voice, so be prepared to get admonished by dragons and ogres. I also use Syrinscape to add flavorful music and combat sound effects, spell sounds, traps, etc. If you're someone who can jump in with a group of friends and become a new friend of ours (both in and out of character!) feel free to leave a post with your details.
