Very Experienced Heavy-RP Female D&D Player LF Long-Term 5th Edition Campaign (18+) (65/35 RP/Combat Ratio)

Hello everyone! Ashley (Chandra) here again! I am currently on the search for a group and DM for a long-term game where I can settle in, make new friends, and work with the DM to provide a great story. I am available for 6 days of the week. Written below is some information about myself, what I'm looking for, and what you can expect from me as a player. --------------------------------------------- BASIC INFORMATION What I am Looking For: A Long-Term Campaign for D&D 5th Edition. Homebrew or Modules: Either though prefer Homebrew. I do however want to play Rise of Tiamat, and Out of the Abyss. Comfort Zone: All players and DM must be 18+. I don't play with under 18 players. I am a mature player. Players: I can work well in a group of up to 5 people. Anything more gets crazy. Time Zone: I am in Eastern Time Zone. Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, (I can do Wednesdays after 9:30pm EST) , Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. What I Like To Play: I always play Humans and only Humans. I love to play Paladins, Fighters (Archers), Wizards, and Clerics (non-melee). Character Level Experience: Level 1 to 30. What I Hate Most: Point Buy and Standard Array. I refuse. I would rather roll 4d6-least and take my chances with the dice. LBGT Friendly: Yes. Roleplay to Combat Ratio: 65/35. 18+ Mature-Friendly: Yes, I roleplay it all; The good, the bad, and the very dark. Yes, that means even that . Pay To Play: I don't mind Pay to Play, but I require proof that the DM is what I am looking for with one free session. I will not pay more than $48 US/month though [12 dollars per session]. --------------------------------------------- A LITTLE ABOUT ME - I am 26 years old, female, from Canada. I am a very hardcore D&D player and DM. I have DMed since 2012 and I enjoy it a lot. I have been playing for 19 years, as my uncle taught me at a very young age how to play. By age 9, I was very, very good at AD&D 2nd Edition. I've been gaming ever since. I play only Humans, and it's not just in D&D, but also in World of Darkness (VTM or Mage 2nd Edition), Warhammer 40k, Exalted, Final Fantasy 14, World of Warcraft, Star Wars, D20 Modern. --------------------------------------------- WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A DM? - I am looking for a mature DM who allows me to roleplay my character, who also will challenge me; a DM who isn't afraid to punish me for my mistakes and reward me for my successes. I'm looking for a DM who respects backgrounds and storyline information, applying them to their world to make it fun for both them and me. I am also looking for a DM who isn't going to railroad me, a DM who can think big, and create really interesting storylines. I would like to see my DM put us up against challenges that teach us about failure, and when it is time to run, or even perhaps cleverly run villains. I do not want a DM who always ensures the players are the heroes and wipes everything out. I want a DM who enjoys it when the bad guys win some too. Well I’m putting together a new campaign starting this Friday at 7pm cdt. The campaign is my own homebrew clash of chaos lvls 3-20 open world sandbox the combat to RP ratio is what the plays make it. I have 8 years of DM experience don’t know if this peaks your interest but thought I’d throw it here.

I have two games you might possibly love. One is Pathfinder, the other is Savage Worlds, Fantasy &amp; Western (respectively), and while it isnt 5E, content wise, it may be what you look for

I DM for a group Thursdays starting at 6:30pm PST they are level 11 going all the way to 20 if you would like to join.&nbsp; It is sandbox style but has a main PLOT of 3 lich brothers (1 good, 1 evil, 1 kinda waiting for the others to fight so he can kill the winner) I put some of the session on Twitch when we are down a player so they can see what they missed.

If you could find a game that accommodates this RP heavy nature, and custom world-building in tandem with character ideas, count my friends and I in. I desperately want to play, but it's starting to look like these opportunities only work out if one of the group bites the bullet and DMs.

Are you absolutely married to the idea of playing 5e? Or would you consider other older systems/OSR clones?&nbsp;

I can play AD&amp;D 2nd Edition or 3.5. Also, Christopher B., it's because the Player-To-DM ratio is like 150/1 right now. There are so few DM's, and what I look for is an even rarer DM. This is why many DM's go Pay to Play, because things I am looking for are usually provided only by P2P DM's. I have another thread open though of a Final Fantasy 14-style D&amp;D adventure that I would be DMing F2P (Free to Play), but it's just an idea right now. That thread is still open, but this one is me looking for a game.
