Brand new to this game!

Okay so here is the thing, I'm brand new to this game, like I have never ever played a game of D&D my whole life, no one around me seems to like it, however I have wanted to play this game for so long. I am an artist/voice actor, and have made peoples characters come to life with my art, which made me want to create my own , I even gave him a name and a race, the problem with that is well it's all I have been able to figure out how to do so. I have no stats and no class for them, or any of the other requirements for the game, but I want to make this character come to life , give it a great voice , meet some awesome people on here and start playing with them, if you have enough patience and wish to teach me, maybe help me build up my character then consider me there! Fill out your profile, including the above. Run through the Roll20 tutorials. If you are interested in D&amp;D 5e, read through the free basic PDF, available from Wizards of the Coast. Check out YouTube for how to make a character tutorials and make characters. If it is another game system, most companies have rules light PDFs available for free but you have to look for them. Hi! I'm going to be running a game from the Essential's Kit if you're interested. Dragon of Icespire Peak is from levels on through five or so, and is a great way to learn the game.
