Looking for a DM to help a group of new players.

Hi! Me, along with a couple of friends decided we wanted to play D&D, and because half of the group is placed across the other side of the world we figured this wonderful site we found here seems like a good solution, rather than just doing everything over skype like one suggested. The reason for me asking for a DM now is simple. We want to learn the game, so we need someone experienced. That, and we're still at the stage of trying to figure out how to really do anything as a GM in the roll20 tabletop interface. So far there's a total of 5 of us, possibly 6 with one the fence. However, one will only be able to make it to every second weekend due to work interfering (and I must ask, not knowing myself, would this be possible somehow? Would everyone have to attend every week for this to work at all. I'd really like to know this as soon as possible to figure out what to do about it, or in the worst case, share the bad news that he will not be able to join after all, which I had really hoped he would be able to.) Either way, as I see it, there's 4 of us guaranteed willing to play, so there's still that. With that last fifth guy maybe joining. Because of our international situation we've been discussing times, and decided that the only real possibility would be Saturdays 19:00 GMT+0, or 11:00 UTC-8 (these being the extremes of our time zones, sort of). And that each session would last around 3 hours, if that's enough? I hope it is. Problem is that Friday nights doesn't work because then it's in the middle of the night in Europe, or people in the US are still at work. As I understand it, we all have a bit of mixed, but in the end, little to none experience of D&D in the past. Personally all I've really had a chance to try is 4E, while others have played 3.5. Which version we would be using is up for debate. I'm not the expert here. I'm just the guy who suggested this whole thing to start with and thus ended up being the one to make this request on this forum! I guess I've been sort of hoping we could start this very first Saturday to come if everything goes well. 9/3. And then do this every Saturday. But I suppose that's only the case if a willing DM shows up fast enough and all the details could be settled quickly. We'll see. That's all I can think of right now. Questions are obviously welcome, especially seeing how I don't have all the information yet either. I'm not sure what I need to figure out or not. I hope this was everything though... For the sake of saying how much of experience I personally I have, I tried to play D&D before, but lacked anyone to really play with. After I'd in a haste gotten the books required to play it I realized all I had to play with was one guy who wanted to try and DM for me out of kindness, but with no experience at all with the game, and a second player who didn't see a problem with naming his elf archer "Legolas". Roleplaying with him was like talking to a brick wall. Needless to say, that D&D experience was short lived, and thus, I'm really excited about this one, where I might actually get to play with friends for once. I've rambled on long enough. Hope I didn't scare anyone away with this now! Thank you for your time.
Hey, I'm running an ongoing 3.5 Dungeons and dragons Campaign in the Forgotten realms settings. 1 of the groups has openings for more players. They meet every 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month from 7:30PM to 12 Midnight (This is GMT +5). I know you have some time restraints, but maybe some of you can join this group for now for those that can, and I'll try to see if we can accommodate the others who cant do that time slot by putting them in one of the other groups that meet on a different schedule. All the groups are in the same extended story arc, but are just dealing with aspects of the campaign. Essentially you would all still be in the same story, just different adventures. You would be required to join our private Facebook group for updates, announcements, campaign info, occasional Play-by-Post, and other content. The characters are pre-generated. If you are interested, we'd love to have you join us and show you the ropes. If you are interested, private message me.
EDIT. thats GMT - 5
Hi. I would not run a DnD campaign (I lack several books that I would consider instrumental to doing so) but I do own the pathfinder books and would be quite willing to run a brief campaign at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Saturdays or Sundays, though Sundays would be a bit better for me. And someone not being able to attend every game would not be a problem. We could work around that. Please reply here if this is of interest :)

For now we at least want to get a taste of how it is, and don't really need a huge campaign. Just something to show us the actual game, really. I'll ask the others if Sunday might be a possibility.
Alright. Send me a PM when you know, and please include some info on what sort of campaign style you lot would like :) (dungeon crawl, intrigue, murder, politics, epic battles and so on)
