Global illumination - player can see entire map?

Hey, So I have a big map, lets say 1000ft across. Player is set to have sight 360 degrees multiplier 1, advanced fog reveal distance is set to 120ft. I enabled advanced fog of war and tried to play with the settings of regular fog as well. Its daylight in this map, so I set the global illumination on. The issue im having is that the player can see the entire map, all 1000ft across. and not just 120. I know itshouldn't work like that, so my question is: What is the correct way to restrict player sight in this situation? I mean, yeah its daylight but I don't want him to see the entire map. (And i don't want to reveal fog of war as he goes either)

Global Illumination floods the map with light. Characters will always see to the limit of available light. The reveal distance in AFoW refers to the "memory" of what is seen. In any case, I would string advise against those settings. There is a known synergy between Global Illumination and Advanced Fog of War that causes them to break, particularly on large maps. Frankly, I'm somewhat surprised that you were able to load and use that map without issue. Perhaps you are not using a lot of Dynamic Lighting blockers?
1000ft was an example, its more like 500 i guess :P Thanks.
