GM - Pop up info

Hi all, has anyone found a solution to this kind of need: I use Pathfinder as a game system and there are often talents and special skills for the creatures that I can not remember all in details so I would be able to have a link directly on the sheet of the creature with details of the talent/skill. I'd like to appear a pop-up with the description, but without having to enter everything in the handouts. Do you know perhaps an external program that could serve this need? Or there's a solution already in Roll20 that I haven't found? Bye Beppe

Sounds like something the API would be needed for. Making a post up in that section asking about it would probably net you a few suggestions or possibly help with.

API Scripter
Beppe63, have you tried just sticking a hyperlink in the handout? Not as handy as having a popup, but I find it the easiest approach.
There's an API script that lets you import an entire character from it's Herolab/PFSRD statblock, and if you choose, make all of it's attacks and abilities into token macros. There's really no way to do it other than having the stablock open on another monitor or something that you can remember to look at when playing.
I put all that info in the character bio/info tab, then alt-double click tokens to get to it quickly.
If you have a scanner, scan the tables/charts/... drop the pictures into handouts and make a master handout with [links] to the individual charts. you can also put the links into relevant character sheets so players have their abilities available to them.
Thank you all for the suggestions, I'll see what best suits my needs although, as anticipated, I did not want to load everything in the handouts. :) As +MK said I'll try to post the message also on the APIs forum . Thank you again.
