I am looking to run a game in either the Cypher System or Mutants and Masterminds (2nd or 3rd edition).  I have the books for all three system options, but have not run a game with them before, so I want to do a short (1-3 session) game to gain familiarity before I try it with the main campaign I am planning to run. I have experience using Roll20 to run Pathfinder games and I have a potential Co-DM who is familiar with running 5E and more familiar with Mutants and Masterminds than I am, but the main goal is flexibility to tell the kind of story I want. All of my games share a multiverse that can allow characters to have a great deal of flexibility in concept and backstory. However, just because your character came from a different universe/world/etc. than the game is currently set in, does not mean that multiverse travel will be a repetitive theme as the story progresses in every game. The story is much more important to me than following the rules exactly.  That said, rules provide a foundation for play, so they won't be ignored either. For this game, the setting will have a generally magical/steampunk vibe and characters can specialize in magic, engineering, or neither (not both).  I am flexible on origin so long as there is a good backstory provided to explain it. Game time is TBD, but my time-zone is PDT and I will be available in the evenings on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and all day on Sat, Sun. If you are interested in joining, please private message me with the following information: - System Preference (Cypher, M&M 2e, M&M 3e) - Availability and time zone - Specialization (Magic, Engineering, Neither) - Brief backstory, to be expanded on later. I will be creating the game once I have some responses regarding system preference.  Please reply here for any general questions.
