Hello Newcomers and Roll20, roll20 interface and [Voice and video call game] {Skype} Looking to set up a Bi-weekly D&D Group. I am from the States of America and currently live on the East Coast (KY). This first session will be session zero. We will introduce ourselves, Finish Character creation, explain rules and concepts of the game, roll our stats, and refine backgrounds. This way we can see how to build a character and start a game as well as for you and me to determine if our DM style and PC style match. Again this group could be what you are looking for, great let’s have a wonderful campaign. However you might find my DM style or other players not matching to what you are looking for during session zero. Please feel free to say so and you can leave to find your play style, this will save us both a lot of heartbreak later and help us both find the group we are looking for. Looking to create a Bi-weekly game on Monday 8PM to 11:30PM EST. Commitment is a must. A lot of time goes into DMing. If a genuine emergency such as sick, family, or life event birthday, wedding etc. understandable. However flakes will be asked to leave. Looking for players who can make and keep a commitment. Mandatory Rules: *Respect the DM and fellow players any trash talk or disrespect of another player will result in being banned from future sessions. *Glory Hogging or Fighting with the group or the group’s decision, or trying to break the game will result in being asked to leave. * quality internet connection (It is a huge distraction when someone has such poor internet that they can not be understood VIA voice chat)[Skype shall be utilized] Additional information of specifics: Two absences per year and two late shows is except-able; I am looking for commitment above everything else. We are Utilizing the 5th Edition rule set, However that does not mean that the DM does not supersede the rule set. If there is obvious abuses in the rules that would allow someone to do 10K damage in one attack... it will be nullified. Understand that there are consequences to your actions(For example if you are in a cave with stone cicles handing from the ceiling those cicles may fall and damage you if you shoot a fireball and miss your "flying target"), I am all about making the PCs Heroes and that is my goal. That does not mean that as a PC you can not die. As a DM I do not want you to have fun... I want EVERYONE to enjoy the campaign, which goes back to no glory hogging. Character Creation: All of the following official Content is approved to use. **Players handbook 5th edition Xanathar's guide to everything Volo's guide to monsters Appendix A Character options for Curse of Strahd** If you have any questions about me, the campaign, rules, etc. please DM me. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/184309/curse-of-strahd First Game is after the holidays on 6 Jan 2020
Highly committed player here, looking for a group that's the same. I would love to be your party's bard.
I am also very interested. Have been looking for a group and have been hoping to play CoS.
Please drop an application with the desired PC you would like to play in the listing.
Hey, Chris S. mentioned you’re looking for players! My PC would depend on group needs but looking to try my hand at being a caster this time around. I have decent exp with 5e from DMing small groups myself but I dont get the chance to be a PC so this is something intriguing to me and I can very much be committed.
Hi I'd love to play in Curse of Strahd, I've got a character concept in mind, I'll share her in the listing.
@anthony S. Absolutely, just drop an application/character concept in the original post link
@ Thyris could always use a quality pick me up from a bard
Still taking applications
