Looking for mature RP centric D&D gam

Hey there folks, So I am brand new to the Roll2D0 site but I have been playing table top RPG's for over 20 years(I am 34) in some form or another. I have been involved in play by post games most recently to try and and get my fix but the immersion and pace have left something to be desired and all my gaming friends are busy or have left for greener pastures. You can image my excitement upon finding this site! I am looking to find a long lasting, intimate game(s) with a focus on roleplaying, character development and story building. No game would be complete without fights, challenges and the requisite "roll" playing of course but I love to feel like I am part of a changing and growing world as my character changes and grows with it, potentially influencing the future and trying to live with the past. I have many different character ideas that I would love to try out and will reserve detail of them until I know what would fit any potential campaign that would have me. I am incredibly flexible in this regard and would be willing to work with any GM in order to fit. I would prefer a new campaign as opposed to jumping into an already established one but I am certainly open to joining a preexisting campaign if it does not threaten the cohesion of the story or party. I am in CST and am open nearly every night for some serious gaming and fun with a mature group of people who share the same excitement of gaming that I do. You might also want to specify if you prefer Classic D&D, AD&D, D&D 3.5, Pathfinder (aka unofficial D&D 3.75) or D&D 4e or if you're not that picky about the actual system of D&D. This is the kind of game I like to play too, but my group is currently full up... ^_^;

Ahh yes...That might be helpful. The majority of my experience is in AD&D 2e - 3.5 though I am incredibly interested in Pathfinder and D&D 4 so I am very flexible in my range of systems. I just want to get involved in something deep, immersive and long lived and am willing to do the appropriate purchasing and reading leg work in order to be valuable to the game that takes me in. 

Depending on the Time frame I would be interested could you elaborate on your availability. (2nd shift only allows days off or late night)

Certainly Chaos. My&nbsp;apologies&nbsp;for not being more thorough in my initial post. I am&nbsp;available&nbsp;any weekday after 7pm CST except for Wednesday.&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;and Sunday I am have a completely open and malleable schedule and have no problem allocating time for a game anytime throughout the day.&nbsp; Thanks for the reply Ajax. I have looked at the PAG and found it a bit overwhelming. I am in the process of weeding through all the posts and seeing if anything fits my style of play. I apprecaite the comment and suggestion though!
