iPad app not loading

I been using Roll20 for a good while now. Works fine on my MacBook and my iMac and an windows PC I use. I got a new iPad Pro recently and wanted to run the app on that, but it's stuck on the LOADING screen when I open the app.  Roll 20 works "kinda ok" when I run it in safari. It works decent when I run it on chrome on the iPad. I figured the app would be a better choice here. I found similar posts about this problem a few years back but there didn't seem to be any solutions. Is the app just not gonna work or what?

The app isn't currently that great, and Roll20 probably won't spend time improving it, as they are in the progress of rewriting the app from scratch. There exist no info on the future app as far as I know, so it's probably far in the future. What comes to browsers, it's recommended to primarily stick to Chrome & Firefox, as those two are officially supported(and by that extension most character sheets are designed with them in mind as well).
