problems on roll 20 ... where is a help line.. living person?

how can someone get basic help ... I like the idea of roll 20 but support lacks and finding the right answers is very hard. I like to spend money but free is all I am willing unless there is real help for issues I have with this roll 20.... so if you can tell me where to find help other then posting on a forum.. let me know please....
I can't speak for the development team, but generally Roll20 is a community supported platform. Outside of billing questions, there's very little that the Moderator Team and the supporters/community can't answer. You won't find a more helpful and eager community to look to for assistance with anything you might possibly have an issue with. It's extraordinarily rare for any question or problem to go unanswered for more than an hour or so before someone posts something helpful. The Acknowledgements page illustrates some of the folks who have contributed to this wonderful platform. https://wiki.roll20.net/Acknowledgements (Last updated March 31, 2014)

What problem do you have? If you post the details about the problem someone will be able to help you because someone has experienced it and has posted about it and the solution was posted also either in the forums or in the wiki. The more information given the better someone can help you.

Moving this to Specific Use Questions. Anthony, welcome to Roll20. If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend checking out our wiki . What sort of trouble are you having?
Sorry... I gave up trying to fix the issue... Wiki can't help ... its a try and try to fix... there is no reading then poof its fixed.... for roll 20 ... you need two active people in roll20 for it to be tested.... can't do it alone.... so I given up hopes to use roll20 as a new platform to rpg.... so back to finding a new game shop after each closes its door..... The issue I am having is video is not working... Voice dosn't work then if I do get it to work... I get feed back or my voice back....now I try some new fixes.. but with out someone to help ... will never know if I fixed it... so... I given up.... no Wiki page can help test until fixed... I can sit in a room alone but takes two to make it turn on.... Oh well... David from Table top gaming had some great video's that made me want to use roll20.... thanks for trying to help....

Try sending a PM to Gauss (he's a member of the Mod team). He frequently hops in to people's games to help fix problems.
its ok... I am waiting for a friend to finally fix his computer and we can sit next together to get it working right... like to move my 30 years of DM/GM/Story telling to the next level and I know you need some good GM's ......and I know that I can bring that.....

You have to understand something Anthony G. Everyone here is scattered across the world and there is only three people that make money off this site. Everyone else helps for free. You have to be patient as this is not a mega corp that has staff on standby every second of the day. This site does not have that type of cash flow. Now before you give up and walk away in with a sour attitude because there are some hickups, you have to look at the facts. You got a response to your post in 2 hours by me and Mark G. I asked what the problem was and within an hour you had mod ask also then within an hour of the mod's post you were posting you gave up because we couldn't help you with your problem that you did not explain to us. How is someone suppose to help a person when they do not know what the problem is? Rather than getting upset because someone is not sitting at the keyboard, hitting refresh every minute so that they can respond to your post, give people time. We all have personal lives be it family, friends, games, school, or even, gasp dare I say the four letter word - work. So just chill out and let people have time to help you rather that expecting instant service. Peace out.

The VOIP (voice/video) feature with Roll20 doesn't activate until there's another person in the campaign with you. If you're hearing feedback, I suspect it's because you're not using a headset and your microphone is picking up your own audio from your speakers. To test the tokbox program outside of Roll20 without another person present you can use this link - http://tokbox.com/opentok/quick-start/demo.html
lol...so much help but it will just come down to getting someone to sit in a campaign and work thru it one click at a time..... but I am using a headset .....
Watch this .
lol.... ROFLMAO........
MK said what I had on my mind.
You can also open a new tab and join the game session.... then click the gear icon and on the bottom it says 'Re-join as player'. Now you have the view as GM and Player. The audio gets crazy so just mute yourself. Good luck
