STAR WARS: Echoes of the Empire In the five years since the Imperial fleet's defeat at Endor, and the death of Emperor Palpatine, the freshly declared New Republic has stood as the new dominant power of the galaxy, unifying most of the territory of the Empire and the Old Republic before it. It's fleet stands as the stalwart safeguard of it constituents, and the ground forces fight nobly to bring an end to what Imperial enclaves yet remain. But it's a new government. A provisional one at that, a Republic still trying to forge a proper constitution whilst simultaneously extending itself to dangerous levels, where Pirates are abusing holes in fleet patrol movements and Imperial Remnants or warlords posing stiff and desperate resistance and locking military forces in sieges. In need of agents they can use to keep their momentum, and to help maintain order while logistical issues are fixed, you have been brought in. Whether you have loyalty to the Republic, a hatred for the Imperial remnants, or just need the payment to get by, You have found yourself in the employ of Republic command, who have sent you on an old freighter to the Imperial held station of Kwenn as part of a plan to take the station. You assured them you could get inside and bring down it's defences for the fleet to claim it, but the closer you get, the more you question your abilities.... STAR WARS: Echoes of the Empire will be a campaign of hopefully grand proportions, set in the period of reconstruction 5 years after the battle of Endor, and only a short time before the campaigns of Thrawn.
