King Arthur Pendragon 5.1/ 1PM EDT Saturdays /LF4P / G+

Good day sir knights, I seek among you those of stout heart, strong arm, and clear eye to proceed with a quest of epic proportions. Having become familiar with the system through a popular tabletop stream, I wish to host a session (almost) every Saturday, starting with May 3rd, for a few weeks to see how this goes. These will be four hour sessions, played using Roll20/G+. I'll admit I have not run this system before, but I have great experience across the land with over 200 sessions of Pathfinder Society in the past year. I ask of you this, petitioning knights, to post or PM me the following details: Your name Your purpose for joining Familiarity with the system ( King Arthur Pendragon and the Great Pendragon Campaign ) Familiarity with the time period ( E.x. Mallory, Dark Ages ) Roleplaying experiences in the best Your best and worst moments playing or gming Availability I shall select of thee those who seem Moste Worthy and we shall see what we shall see.
Saturdays are shit for me
Dang. Would love to play but Saturday sunlight times are a no-go especially with summer approaching.
Dont suppose an evening time is possible lol
I already have a commitment Saturday night.
I'm interested and am actually free on MOST Saturdays in the near future (I'm unemployed & looking for work so that could change): Names Cody I've always wanted to try Pendragon, and I like Arthurian lore a lot Familarity extends to Roll Play R&D streams and thats about it I wouldn't say I am a Dark Ages / Arthurian lore buff, but I do enjoy it and use it as a base for settings in my short stories from time to time so I've researched it I've GM'd a game of FATE that did not finish due to a change in player availability and no way to rectify it, and I've played a full campaign of Apocalypse world and about to MC (GM) a game with the same group Best expereince is playing Apocalypse world with a great group and playing it out to a conclusion (albeit we elected to end and start over due to MC RL concerns and just general boredom after 15 straight weeks) Worst is in a game of Pathfinder where I got chewed out for trying to "ruin party dynamic" simply by playing my character and threatening another character with bodily harm during a slow section of the game also having my game of FATE end abrubtly was really sad as well As of right now I'm available at pretty much any time that's not too early or too late in CST, basically from 9AM CST to 9PM CST (Start time not end time) I can play. In the summer I might take a weekend vacation every so often to see my grandparents who live up north and even then I might be able to play if I can arrange to get a wi-fi connection
With some management I could do that time. What is your name: King Arthur (Lols My name is straight forward, Josh) What is your quest? To seek the Holy Grail (Lols again, to have a blast being a Knight along side other players) *Insert reference to a Eagle here* Familiarity with the system: In a campaign currently, active viewer of Rollplay R&D and have read the pendragon rule books Familiarity with the time period: Movies involving King Arthur Roleplaying experiences: Some D&D 2E, ALOT of D&D 3.5 and Pendragon. Your best and worst moments playing or gming: Best moment, Rescuing my Gnome Thief companion when he was stunned on back of a black dragon attached to its saddle with spider climb boots active, in this really cool scene that is movie worthy. Worst moment was agreeing to be a DM to a group who literally wanted everything their way. (There is always one group out there like that) Availability: If I set my alarm I can make the session, will be a Sunday for me.
Your name: Josh as well Your purpose for joining:I really wanna learn this system id like to DM in the future when im more knowledgeable Familiarity with the system:Fairly noob to it ive watched Rollplay R&D and i also have the rulebook but ive yet to play the system Familiarity with the time period:Not crazy knowledgeable but ive watched and read abit Roleplaying experience:ive done a lil bit of pathfinder not gonna lie im still noob abit Your best and worst moments playing or gming:Ive had almost none tbh i havent gotten to play much worst moment we almost died to a spider swarm it was kinda funny Availability:Completly open
Your name: Brian Your purpose for joining: I've been wanting to get back into roleplaying, and this system looks really cool. Familiarity with the system: Like the Joshs, I've seen it played on Rollplay R&D. I haven't played it myself, though. Familiarity with the time period: I'm a a huge history-nerd / studied it in university. Not too familiar with King Arthur, other than movies and such. Roleplaying experience: Used to play the old WoD games with my friend back in high school, but that was about 10 years ago. I'm pretty rusty with roleplaying and new to roll20 now, but I'd love to get back into it. Your best and worst moments playing or gming: It's been so long, I can't actually remember anything specific :( Availability: I'm completely free at that time.
Your name: Rob Your purpose for joining: I like Arthurian legends and I'd like to try a system based on it. Familiarity with the system ( King Arthur Pendragon and the Great Pendragon Campaign ): None whatsoever Familiarity with the time period ( E.x. Mallory, Dark Ages ): Well, I do a lot of research for the Dark Ages in my spare time for my own amusement so quite a bit. Roleplaying experiences in the best: Well, I can step into a role fairly quickly. I've played everything ranging from a notorious space pirate that takes no prisoners to a brave paladin that put his life on the line for his team. Your best and worst moments playing or gming: I've never GMed so I'll stay with playing moments. Best: Rolling a nat 20 against my DM to see if I could kill a demon. The sad part was that it was supposed to be the end game so it was just funny for me to be made a demonslayer in the end game. Worst: Falling in a pit with a subpar Reflex roll....with my rogue. I loved how funny it was, but my rogue bit the big one because of it. Still, totally worth it to see the rest of the group just stare at me and wonder what happened with the dice. Availability: I'm good for Saturdays, but the latest will be noon PST. So, I'll be available during the time you plan on running it.
Your name : Richard Your purpose for joining : I love the Pendragon mythology and the no-magic style of play that focuses more on roleplaying and character buildinging than trying to get to the next overpowered spell. Familiarity with the system ( King Arthur Pendragon and the Great Pendragon Campaign ) : A handful of sessions in the original campaign, looking for one going long term. Familiarity with the time period ( E.x. Mallory, Dark Ages ) : I have a general familiarity, not going to know exact names/dates/ect but I know the characters and their places. Roleplaying experiences in the best : I generally like to roleplay with the mentality of "what would I do in this situation" for most of the characters I've created over the hundreds of hours I've poured into campaigns. Your best and worst moments playing or gming : Critically failing 3 times in a row, need I say more? Availability : Any time from 5pm EST and onwards due to work, and wens + fri does not work for me due to other games.
