Toolbox:Ruler tool; Is there anyway to hide ruler use from other players?

I have a player that has asked if it would be possible to use the Ruler tool without having it visible to other players.

It's not something that you can presently do with the ruler. It's visible to every user. I think the only exception is when the GM is measuring something on the GM layer, then only the GM sees it.

I think you are correct on that about the GM layer. I faintly remember Gauss telling someone about that, if I remember right.

Correct, using the Ruler on the GM layer does not reveal your measurement to the players. However, that will not help player-player interactions. Sorry.
