Toon - The Cartoon Roleplaying Game - Players Wanted

The "Toon" rule books were published in the 80s and 90s. They are based on classic cartoons like Looney Tunes. You play a cartoon character, and pretty much anything can happen. You can Fall Down, but you never die. The laws of physics may or may not apply. Characters can have crazy abilities like being able to instantly change into any costume, or having a bag that magically contains anything you want. The main point of the game is to make each other laugh. I am currently working on leading a one-shot game, but I am open to being a player and being involved in longer campaigns. I have all of the rule books. They include a wide variety of alternate world possibilities that parody Dungeons and Dragons, Cthulhu Mythos, Superheroes, Star Trek, Martial Arts Movies, Westerns, 1950s Monster Movies, Detective Stories, and more. I do not yet have any particular days and times in mind for playing.
So, there is no interest in this game then?
I'd be interested. I'm a big fan of classical animation, but I don't know a great deal about the game (it came out a bit earlier than when I started gaming).
does sound fun. i may be up to it
I didn't know a game like this existed, but I'd sure like to try it, gonna check that book link now hehe
I am not sure how to invite people from here. Do I need to provide a link for you? https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/13417/toon-the-cartoon-roleplaying-game

I am getting several people who join, but then don't post anything in the forums. Is that common?
Does anyone have any other tips for getting more players?
