LFG

I'm a sort of, but not really, new player who has spent forever looking for a group and has now given up and am resorting to begging. Yay! So here's the deal. I have never used Roll 20. I have played DND before but never as a PC or through an actual story.  If anyone has a spot open feel free to message me. Date, time, and game, don't really matter to me as I am very flexible.  I look forward to hearing back from any of you :-)

Hello Rainy, What’s your time zone and days-of-the-week availability? Are you only interested in D&D? If so, what edition(s)? If you are interested in other games, what are they or what style of play/genres are you interested in? Have you made a character or a half dozen for your preferred system? Have you gone through the Roll20 tutorials to familiarize yourself with Roll20? Have you filled out your profile, with the above details (time zone, days-of-the-week availability, games interested in) and a little about yourself? Have you checked out other tutorials about Roll20 on YouTube? A lot of these details are interesting to GMs.... /Matt

I could play at literally any point as I only work from home. I am interested in 5e the most as that is the one I know the most about and have played the most in. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't play any other types of games just that I have the most experience with 5e.  Yes, I have gone through the roll 20 tutorials but I am someone who learns better with actual experience. I however not checked out roll 20 youtube as I rarely visit youtube.
I'm running a Traveler game, it's a very simple 2d6 system. Pretty deadly, but also quite rewarding. We will be playing on Sundays, once we have a full group. I'm aiming for a four player party and just need to fill in this last slot. The plot is a big crystal has been traveling world to world, granting entire worlds with great knowledge. Earth is uplifted from a medieval period to a space-aged one, with all of their technology --while advanced-- with a heavy fantasy flavor. Lots of sword, bow-styled ranged weapons, space ships designed more like sea-faring vessels. Then, the crystal got popped by the big bads and the party is tasked with recovering all the pieces.  It runs pretty episodically. New world, new challenged, shard recovered, downtime, next world. I ran a few sessions with friends before schedules fell apart and I felt it went quite well! Let me know if you're interested.
