Name: Trent Age: 44 Who am I: Father of 3 kids, living in the EST time zone, been playing RPG for over 30 years D&D specifically for about 29 years through Basic D&D to AD&D through all the editions. Mostly in 2nd Edition and 3.5. I love Co-operative games of all types, and have been playing alot of co-op board games of late, but something was missing, I started watching some video's online of actors playing 5e first as a novelty since D&D was such a Taboo thing in my small town, and the light bulb went off. Last week I stumbled upon Roll20 and managed to actually get accepted into a game and played until about Midnight My time (Having to get up at 5am the next day I was tired, but I went to bed grinning ear to ear.) So now I'd like to get another game weekly game in, (I'd like to have 1 game a night... but I think my wife might have something to say about that :P) What am I looking for: I'm looking at getting into a long term game with a great group of people from any background (Long as we all speak English :P) I'd love to play published Adventurer's or Home-brew, I like a good mix of Traps-Puzzles / RP / Combat. I'd like to get in at level 1 and grow with the party, but I wouldn't be opposed to joining slightly higher, I'd love to try Curse of Strahd or the new Baldur's Gate, but really it's the DM and the group that make it fun, so any adventure is great :) The one game I've done was setup with all the maps in game and the DM ran it very well, and I'm told that's a typical Paid experience, so I'm definitely not against paying for a game as I understand getting all the tools to do this in game can be pretty expensive for the Published Adventures, anwyhere from 5-10$ a week is within my budget :) What do I bring to the Table: A laid back Canadian Team player who loves to RP characters, joke and have fun, tries to stay in character the entire session, and enjoys working together to build stories. Will rarely ever miss a game on a Tuesday, has the funds to pay in advance, and is tech savvy enough not to need assistance using Discord for chat (I use it for my co-op game PC game playing) Types of Characters I'd like to play: I'm pretty easy I've enjoyed pretty much every character out there but the Bard I've never been fond of that class, the rest I'm good with, I sorta want to try out a Warlock or Barbarian but in the end I enjoy making the party work better overall than playing a class I want and won't help the party as much.
