Thanks for the replies... Knowing there is some interest, I will now add some more information, without the stinginess of my original post :-). The slot did open up! I absolutely have a spot and am looking for only one player, if you don't get the spot I apologize, but I only have 1.++ The party lost a Bravura Warlord, so a leader class might work the best. Though I have no problem with multiples of the same class. The party does already have 3 striker classes, a Dragonbreath Sorcerer who can attack 3 times with his dragon breath, but is also very squishy, so he can't keep taking the damage he deals to his allies. A Sling Rogue who is pretty much the parties assassin/scout/thief. And an Elven Avenger who runs around with a greataxe and pounds things into the ground quickly. I do not have a problem with multiclassing as long as the classes that are chosen are all inside the rules I have already given. Only phb 1 and 2 classes, with the exception of the Monk. and if you get to broken, I reserve the right to make adjustments, but I will work with you and let you know any concerns I have way before I tell you "Hey man go change your build." If you have some bad ass thing you can do, that is cool... if it is really broken, that is cool too- I just don't want it to happen every combat. For example- the dragonborn sorcerer could sit around and try to use his dragonbreath 3 times a round every round- but he doesn't. he reserves it for when he gets angry, or is pinned in a corner, or when his party seriously pins down the enemy and gets them clustered. As far as some backstory. The Sling Rogue is a gnome, who doesn't really take anything seriously, he is a jokester and his mouth has gotten him into trouble a few times. He has cracked jokes when the time wasn't right and has been told off for it before. The sorcerer is a dragonborn, who kind of went the opposite direction as most, and he is completely infatuated with "Real" dragons, and wants to try and become as close to one as possible. Thus why he is breath specced. The avenger is the serious one, more calm and collected, but quick to go into a rage in battle, and his diplomacy skills are seriously lacking. There is a Pacifist cleric who can heal a ton, but dont think it is a cakewalk, I do use the latest monster math so at level 12 you get hit you can assume you will be taking at least around 20 damage a hit, so even having a pacifist cleric only goes so far. Finally The parties tank is a Warden, a kind of AOE lightning build, who marks as much as he can and tries to deal constant, yet low damage to as many creatures as possible. But this guy is extremely fat, and eats like nothing you have ever seen before. Though the characters are quirky, the scene of the campaign is not, and the characters do take it seriously. The parties home city is under attack. They left their home city to search out aid from a distant mage university, and while doing so passed through an everburning forest of flame, where they learned the distant cousins of dragons, called Trillith, now walk the earth, and they are only created/pulled to our realm in times of great tragedy, or when a great tragedy is about to happen. Not much is known about these trillith, but the party found one in the forest of flame, pinned underneath a lake by an Eladrin champion long ago. The Forest was perpetually burning because the group of forest drayads, the Seela, were constantly singing a song that kept the forest from burning. The party released the trillith and defeated it, but doing so killed the drayad of the forest and the seelas life force was placed into a weapon, the Living Blade. Anyone who wields the blade is a champion of the seela and the forest, and if that person dies, the seela race dies with the wielder of the blade. The saving of the seela and putting out of the everburning forest has multiple outcomes, but many are speaking of the forest that has lost it's flame. The party made it to the costal city where the mage academy was, but found the city was overrun by a group of terrorists causing trouble to keep the city on it's back foot. The party spent their time getting acquainted with the seaport of Seaquen, flushing out the rogue guild and finding out a monk, Lee Sidoneth, was using a rod of storms to make a giant monsoon wash over seaquen, and Lee tried to raise the sea level to flood the city and kill it's inhabitants. The party managed to save the city just in time, but damage was done, and the city is currently rebuilding, Though the party did find a Lute of Building that will make the rebuilding efforts go much faster. As that was wrapping up, The party got wind that the falmily of the king was murdered. Because of that, the king has become irrational and fearful. The king has given the Ragesian army, an army of orcs (The bad guys) permission to march through his lands to take control of the half destroyed city of Seaquen, and right now, the party is wrapping up the events that happened afterward. Now, if this sound cool to you, and the time fits with you, let me know and I will send you my skype information :-).
