Cordie Cordie finds a book sitting on the grave. It's full of mysterious text that only she can seemingly read. Teresa Teresa is able to refocus, and manages to improve herself. Ingund Ingund trains with the help of her sheep. The master teaches the pupil. Sheep teaches Ingund the secrets of Baashing her opponents. Prudence Prudence recovers her armour. It's actually been finished for awhile now. The craftsman ship is quite exquisite. Her efforts to bring her lands in order are not for nothing, but there still seems to be allot of unrest. Especially as rumors spread about the baroness, and her consort. She finally manages to get a handle on Anuirean by the end of her stay. It's not refined yet, but it will do. Zentha Zentha discovers that the most common place for magical research is the Royal Imperial College of Sorcery in the Imperial City of Anuire. Outside of that many sidhelien cities have their own libraries of magic. There are a few other locations scattered around Cerilia as well, but she doesn't find the exact text as to where. Of course The Cohort has some tomes on such things for those willing to search for them. Nim Nim hones her skills to the point where she feels like she has finally come into her own. She has mastered the basics of her trade, and moves onto more advanced techniques. Eginoc Eginoc doesn't have much luck finding good work. He only earns 24bp during his time. Zolis Zolis spends some time researching the tattoo he has, but cannot find any records pertaining to it. Jannis Jannis sends his letter out, but his mother does not send a reply this time. The lands of Rohormarch are currently in civil war so any sort of consistent law is difficult to find. With that said it is obvious from what Jannis reads that most people who enter indentured servitude never leave it. Neither do their children, or their children's children. The owner of the debt tends to continue to pile on costs of living, food, drink, etc. Essentially trapping the person with ever mounting debt. With all of that said the land is currently in civil war. Hugo (who is also a minor Lord) currently sides with the König along with most of the other nobles in Keidel. If they were to lose the war all the nobles would be at best stripped of their lands, titles, and possessions. At worst they would be beheaded to set an example. If Fürst Oden Rohr wins the war Jannis' sister would be freed of her debts by default. Assuming that Lord Hugo's diplomacy with the new supreme ruler fails. Roland Roland works on developing his skills, and improves them significantly. Drago Leana can transcribe the tattoo herself. It's a horned flamed with furious eyes. She teaches Drago of the dangers, and benefits of dark magic. As well as the pitfalls to be avoided. She seems to keep her distance as a teacher. Always staying cold, and to the point. Orithar The axe is non-magical, but seems to be a replica of wound. It might be helpful in identify the actual weapon. The scroll is far too detailed for Orithar to even begin to comprehend. Even with the help of identify. He does however know that The Imperial City of Anuire has a college that might have someone who knows about it. Alternatively he could try asking The Magian, but doing so would be a coin flip as to rather the undead wizard would help the half-orog, or simply kill him on sight. Siegfried Siegfried prays, and prays. Eventually he feels a new power welling up inside of him. Suddenly his ability to cast spells has been raised to the next level. Fenris OOC: I will allow Fenris to begin multi-classing here, but we are going to need to have a chat. Writing a multi-class into your backstory is not a valid excuse for multi-classing. It essentially circumvents the entire idea of our multi-classing rules, and ends up being very meta (my dad was a wizard, my mom was a barbarian, my sister was a cleric, my brother was a rogue, my second cousin twice removed was a bard...). You'll need to find a proper teacher. (1/3 Multi-class) Diesa Not much news comes out of Baruk-Azhik that she hasn't already heard. However when asked about Thaele she tells Diesa that she's been to it many times before. It's mostly full of Rjurik tribes, but there are beastkin of many different kinds in that land as well. She also tells you stories of the Berkan, a tribe of bearfolk who populate some of the northern land. They're very wary of other races, and live a lifestyle actually quite similar the Rjurik people. She also tells Diesa tales of other people with bestial traits who are not awnshegh. Though from the sounds of it most of them live on Torova Temylatin these days. Supposedly they have a hidden village where they can live without persecution from the other races. Rather that last story is true, or just a tall tale is unclear, but Leila seems to believe there's some truth in it. Tarkus Tarkus learns many new songs, and the secrets in how to weave magic into them. Korak Korak spends 3 renown to make sure his letter is sent. The Kallanon agrees to post a mission to the Board of Fate. Lolgon Lolgon returns to The Cohort as a Griffon Knight (don't forget to choose which domain you are becoming a Griffon Knight from). Hedrin Hedrin spends time looking for information on Solaria, but much of it is shrouded in mystery, or books left in the forbidden archives. Savas Savas' mix of training, and meditation to Khindai do indeed result in improvements to his abilities. Hunter Layton Hunter discovers that pockets to the Shadow World exist all over Cerilia. However finding them is often times difficult, and finding a way to pass through them is even more difficult. Worse yet many pockets are one way, meaning the return journey might be extremely difficult. Not to mention the Shadow World is full of dangerous monsters, creatures, and even dragons! In fact it is home to The Shadow Dragon! Many terrible creatures come to Cerilia by finding a pocket, and opening it up. Drake Darkwood Drake improves himself, and his abilities become slightly more refined. Rob While no assassins attack Robert does finally learn how to properly ride his steed. Takumir Takumir earns 72bp from his guard duties. Unfortunately a lack of hazard pay made the journeys not worth much at all. With that said the caravan did cover food during the trip, so the man was able to pocket any money he didn't spend on frivolous items. Shango Shango rests both his soul, and mind. He feels refreshed, and gains inspiration! Ingram OOC: Again you'll need to actually make sure you go out, and find a teacher. For now I'll allow you to start learning with Presphine, but you'll need to either find another PC to teach you, or take up a quest to find a proper teacher. Darvius Darvius spends time practicing in the way of the open hand. He practices against himself in long rituals of meditation where he creates images in his mind to learn from. The practice pays off, and his speed improves significantly. Mamm Mamm spends the mornings training, and the afternoons helping with the children. The sight of the children shouting, screaming, and clapping as she trains seems to inspire her to new heights. Ant At the thought of his losses, and with the drink in his blood Ant learns to channel his rage more effectively. He finds a partner in this ritual with Jasta who does the exact same thing. Jasta OOC: See Ant's downtime above. OOC: I'm allowing Jasta's level up here as Ryan is new. This is a special exception! Agatha Agatha spends some time trying to learn Anuirean, but doesn't manage to get it down yet.
