Asher Asher continues to study under Orithar (week 2/3). OOC: If you are ever doing anything that takes multiple weeks always include which week you are on. Savas Savas spends some time in Proudglaive, and slowly begins to take on some of the language (week 1 of learning Anuirean, check for this week was a fail). Roland Roland behaves in a manner that is surprisingly similar to many "veteran" members of The Cohort. Jannis Jannis spends some time looking into the ancient tower. He discovers that the tower has a sister tower called The Tower of Morning in Ariya. The Tower of Morning was built by The Great King el-Arrasi, and earned its name for its perfect view of summer sunrises. He then built a sister tower for his wife, Queen Ahmose-Henutemipet, a Maetian noblewoman. However after the breakup of the Basarji Federation the Tower of Evening stood empty, and now is said to only survive as a haunted ruin beside the monster-infested Harrowmarsh. Diesa Diesa is able to buy the material she is looking for in Daikhar-Zhigun, but also discovers that it is currently going for double the normal market price! She manages to improve her skills in wizardry to a point where she is independent of her teacher. However her efforts to cheer Presphine up don't seem to work (level up). Galena Galena ventures around The Cohort, and finds some quiet spots where she is less likely to be disturbed (level up). Lambert Lambert is retired. Korak Korak continues his training, and finds himself ready for new challenges (level up). He sends his letters out, but doesn't get a response to either. Unfortuantely for Korak the people of Hjolvar do not send him any free armour. Hedrin Hedrin discovers that this group originated in The Sielewode, and were banished many many years ago, back in the time of The Cohort Arcanum's rise to fame. Not much is known about them, but there are stories that when they appear so do horrible brain eating monsters. Many cultures view them as bad omens, and will massacre them if discovered. Lolgon Lolgon finally manages to get a decent handle on Anuirean. OOC: Always make sure to include how many weeks you've spent on activities that last for multiple weeks. Hunter Hunter doesn't discover any new information about The Roc. Drake Drakes level up to level 3. Rose and Veit Rose's research doesn't turn up anything new that isn't already listed on the wiki. OOC: I've updated the downtime rules in response to your question. Going forward characters with inheritance will be allowed a single downtime action before their first adventure. New characters (characters with 0XP essentially) will not be allowed to take downtime actions until they go on at least on adventure. Prudence Prudence improves her abilities, and discovers that she now has access to the third circle of magic in areas where the mebhaighl is strong enough. The orphaned Emily goes into an absolute fit whenever Prudence and Agatha talk about finding her a new mother. For now no good prospects have been spotted, and Prudence's servants at the keep look after Emily whilst she adventures (level up). Portia Portia doesn't find allot of new information, but she does see some references to a primordial god known as Kong. A three headed monkey, this creature was known for being a trickster. He would often times use his cunning to trick people out of their possessions, magic, names, lifespan, and more. There are mentions of Kong's Vault. A secret location full of all the treasures he stole from his victims. Teresa Teresa's skills with her new bow increase significantly as she practices. She receives word from the Baroness that if she visits Roesone first she might be able to spare some aid (level up). Cordelia Cordelia expands her knowledge, and improves he abilities. Yet in spite of all of her improvements her new spell fails to identify the drums. It is most certainly magical however, and sometimes will begin to play to the beat of her heart (level up). Ingund Ingund and Brognir begin a budding friends. Shango The only rumor Shango hears about The Wolf is that he used to have a massive cave. Supposedly it's full of gold, treasure, magic items, and more! Anyone who finds it would be wealthy beyond their wildest dreams! Rob Robert crafts one healing potion during his downtime. He will need to make sure he finds ingredients in the future however as the flow of supplies into The Cohort for such things is limited (see the downtime rules for how this works). OOC: I do not see the herbalism kit tool proficiency, or tools on your character. You will need to pay for the tools. Eirena Eirena discovers that the Tosculi have queens, and function as a hive. Killing the queen is a suicidal mission, but if their numbers are sufficiently culled in certain areas they will be less likely to invade there again. Zolis Zolis puts his all into his training (level up). Orithar Orithar discovers that The Magian tends to only spare those who are extremely intelligent, those who are clever, or those who just genuinely entertain him. Outside of that his thirst for knowledge is the only other way to get on his good side. He loves chess, especially variants of it. The spear is Rana's spear. This item was an ordinary bone-tipped spear used by an ordinary Rjurik woman. One day whilst hunting a mammoth the creature looked to her, and begged for mercy. "Please do not kill me!" The creature pleaded. "And why should I do that?" The hunter asked. The mammoth responded "For I shall give you the tip of my right tusk, and bless it with the might of the woods. So that forever, and beyond whomever lives with it will carrying the blessings of the northern woods." Ultimately Rana took the beast up on its offer, and replaced the tip of her spear with the tusk. What happened to Rana is lost to time after that, but her spear is still a well known Rjurik weapon. It's a +1 average ironwood bone spear. It does not degrade over time like ordinary bone items do. Whilst wielding the spear the wearer can summon forth the blessings of the forest to cast Druidcraft. Additionally once per long rest the wearer can use the spear to cast Animal Friendship as a 1st level spell without expending a spell slot (DC13). This weapon requires attunement. Drago Drago does indeed discover that the dice are magical. He doesn't find any records of a horde from The Silver Dragon. OOC: If Korak is doing identify he has to do that in his downtime action. Not yours. Siegfried Siegfried asks around the docks looking for her, and discovers she has not been in port in a much longer time than usual. Rumor is that her boat was destroyed by The Roc. Though there isn't any actual evidence to prove this. At the very least The Blind Date hasn't been seen recently. Fenris Nathair Fenris trains, and dwells on the past lessons in his life (level up). Darvius Darvius gets the item identified by Orithar (see above). The king sends a letter to Darvius telling him that he offers quality bows to his berserkers. Assuming Darvius doesn't mind bending the knee, and being beholden to King Uldviik Varrigsson from now on. Ingram Ingram's study of the arcane seems to be slowly opening his mind up to new possibilities in the world (week 2/3) Brognir Brognir begins learning from Ingund. Ingund is a wonderful teacher, a bit difficult at times, but overall very nice. Her sheep on the other hand is a slave master, and works Brognir to the bone. The work does seem to be slowly starting to pay off however (week 1/2). Phage Phage's prayers slowly grow her connection with the powers awakened in her soul (level up). Agatha Agatha hears the voice of Explicita Defilus guiding her to stronger magics. See Prudence's downtime about Emily. Dietric writes back talking about family troubles (level up). Nim Nim's training pays off, though rather her comfort and assurance was enough to relax Mamm is something only the gods know (level up). Mamm Mamm can't get a full meeting with the council over such a small matter. Eventually she gets a letter from Leana Stillborn, The Scarlet Devil informing her that she worries far too much about appearances in a place where goblins can sometimes be seen roaming the halls. The kids seem to enjoy chasing after Mamm's new tail, and poking at her new ears. Nim and Mamm exchange encouragement with each other. Ant Ant earns 72bp for his troubles (don't forget to pay cost of living expenses). He doesn't hear any rumors about the Sea Song.
