Mapping in roll20 is frustrating

Okay, so in a pathfinder game I am in, I was permitted to design my own building, so the dm game me a map to start drawing on and I though he cut it perfectly in half for two floors, but I was sadly mystaken, and only after I finished the map did I notice that the top half, the second floor, was larger then the first floor.  So I started going to work redesigning the building, shrinking the second floor and enlarging the first, but I soon noticed a problem.  Some of the lines could not be deleted, so resizing the map made it look really ugly. Thinking that the lines may have been moved to the map layer, I asked for temporary GM status to work on the map, and he gave it to me, but lo and behold, they were not on the map lair at all.  I tried copying the whole map to a new map page, and the lines I am unable to delete copied as well.  How do I get rid of individual lines that cannot beselected unless I select everything without having to completely start over? Added note, I have even tried deleting all connecting lines and selected every bit of the line and it doesn't work. Try zooming in as much as you can on the lines.  Something similar happens to me and I have to zoom in a lot before i can click on the lines.  And try either layer when zoomed

Oh i misunderstood your question my apologies.  If you drew the entire thing with the polygon tool,  then its one object.  If you drew each line independently, then you should be able to select it.

I used draw shape and held shift to draw straight lines one by one  And I just managed to hide the problem by painting over the line with white.  I am not sure why I never thought of that before, but it was weird that I had the problem at all.  I'm pretty proud of this design so that imperfection was really bothering me.  This is what I've got now.  The [ublic entrance is on the first floor, but the employees have an exit on the second floor, coming up a staircase positioned between two greenhouses.  The second floor has lodgings where employees are allowed to stay if they need a place to sleep, along with 6 workshops, five of which are large and shared by the many craftsman that will hopefully work there, and one smaller one for my character, who is heavily specialized towards crafting jewelry and magic rings.  Oh, and the DW in the upper corner of the two kitchens on the two floors is a dumb waiter.  I am unlikely to ever use it, because bag of holding 4, but I thought it sounded like a cool thing to include.  The upper floor kitchen is for the staff, while the 1st floor one is for my character personally. The staircase between the first floor and the second is in the staff room (1st floor) and the Dojo/Gym (2nd floor) Anyway, thanks for trying to help, even though I found a bandaid in the end that fixed it.
