Hello, Once again I'm back, this time to advertise a second campaign, one in the Science Fiction universe of the Savage Worlds gameplay. This time I'll be sticking to the SWADE (Savage World's Adventure Edition) rule book for the updated set of rules it provides. A few basic information pieces off the bat. This game will not be some super serious if you miss a roll you lose your character type game. I'm aiming for fun, not fear. I have a friend of mine already willing to join in, and though I don't expect to grab many people, I still expect a small number, perhaps 3, though going over is fine. Therefore this'll be a small casual session mostly focused on deep space mystery and some combat. The time frame for when this'll be held is still being debated, as of now the days that myself and my companion are free are Thursday, Friday, Saturday during the day or Sunday. So if any of those days work for you at a specific time frame, that's wonderful. The session itself will most likely be a live session, playing for a few hours on here. The setting, as stated, is Science Fiction. The general premise is this: The party is a small crew working on board the deep space exploration craft, the USS Oregon, searching far from earth sectors for alien life. A faint distress call alerts the on board navigation computer, a short skip across space, the USS Hawk, a larger colony ship, was ripped out of their sub-space jump by an unobserved black hole. The ship is stuck in a gravity tug of war between the black hole and a nearby gas giant. The Hawk was reported missing a few cycles ago, amounting to nearly five years out of contact with Earth. Believed to have been lost in some tragic accident the signal of the Hawk promotes the idea that some survivors remain on board, since the Hawk was carrying enough supplies for a five year trek to it's new home in the Delta Sector. It would take a week for a message from the Oregon to reach Earth and then be sent back, and since the only response from the Hawk is the automated distress call, the crew is reminded by the Oregon's AI that it is the duty of all Earth bound ships to assist in any distress call. Therefore, the party is made to board the Hawk in search of survivors.
