DnD 5e SRD vs DMG

There are some things in the SRD that are completely contradicted by the DMG. For example, the Vicious Weapons add a 2d6 on a Nat 20 in the SRD but it's a +7 damage in the DMG. Mike Mearls and Jeremy Crawford have gone on record and said that the DMG overrules the SRD. Will these discrepancies be addressed/resolved or overridden upon possible future inclusion of the DMG to the Compendium?

Hi Adam,  The SRD information will remain as published in the SRD - WOTC does give us updated content when the SRD gets a new version, which we implement.  When the DMG is available for purchase, it will be in its own separate book in the Compendium, ready to reference.
