In the darkness between the worlds of the Netheril Magocratic Republic lies a place thought only a myth. A Treasure World. A place where everything that was present on one fateful day 'resets' each morning. As the days since grew, tens of thousands of wayward adventurers, misguided zealots and unscrupulous cut-throats from across the Republic have found their way onto this planet. Immeasurable wealth is yours for the taking, but can you claim it from those who seek the same? Will you forge an alliance to improve your position and rise to kingship? Can you survive... the Treasure World? Hi guys, I'm going to be starting up a game which will be every Wednesday at 7pm EST. The only things required are a working microphone, an understanding of your character's abilities and a solid internet connection. I will be streaming the game on Twitch with chat being able to spawn monsters, boons and items, so please bear that in mind if you'd like to play. I'll post the full rules in images below, but let me first address the gist of the game. What is this game? Eight PCs are tasked with claiming a hoard of treasure located somewhere in a randomly generated dungeon. Only three of PCs can claim the hoard. Monsters and traps will be present in the dungeon, and Twitch chat can summon additional monsters, items and boons if they follow the channel with increasing CR and rarity based on the number of follows. How does character creation work? Anything in an official book is allowed (including races, classes, backgrounds an alignment!) No UA or homebrew. You start at level 3 with two Thug NPCs. Stats are rolled in the server (4d6 drop the lowest six times.) What are factions? There will be a hex-based map that will accompany the rest of the game. After you've proven yourself a capable leader by claiming a horde, you can claim a hex on the map. Any new PC or allied PC can be part of the faction, and if they claim a horde you can claim another hex. Hexes provide 2d100 GP per week (IRL week that is :) ), collections of hexes create Thug NPCs, and based on location and what you do with a hex it may also generate additional benefits. Contesting hexes will take a session with a battle between the two factions.
