Hello there, my name is Kris (male 33), I am currently running a zombie-survival game based off the Basic Roleplaying starter system, for anyone unfamiliar, it's basically as simple as rolling a d100, checking your skill percentage, and making sure you rolled below it. Ie, light firearm skill is 65%, you roll a d100, you get a 65 or under, you pass, its really that simple. Right now I have 3 other players, one dropped out because of a language barrier, he was from Northern Ireland and wasn't used to the firearm talk, and American slang, so please at lease be a little familiar with the culture, as weird as that sounds. The game has started in Boston Massachusetts, there is a major arc that the group is following (I can go over if you join), but we have only done 2 sessions, and the game is designed for lots of sandbox'ing(?). There's some homebrew stuff, but its mostly in favor of the player, like since I enjoy roleplaying a bit more I will give bonuses depending on how you describe things. Ie, "Im bracing for my next shot, using two hands to firmly hold the pistol as I steady my breath before pulling the trigger", I may add a plus to your shot to make it easier to hit. I have designed a custom level up system as well so players will be increasing skills as they go, not just sticking with what they got like a lot of BRP systems have, this includes a custom "Perk System" that has a bit "Fallout" (The video game series) feel to it. There's music for ambiance, I use voices for all the characters you will meet, and I try to have maps for most areas instead of always living you on a combat map.  The game would be rated Mature (or Rated R for movie goers), 18+ please, but will feature the X card (just in case), there will be obvious bits of gore, adult themes, drugs/alcohol, suggestive language, and such. I'll say my biggest influences are Dawn of The Dead, original and 2004, 28 Days Later, and Rec, take from that what you will. I'll be helping you with a premade for your first character as it can be a bit weird to create a persona using this system, but there will be plenty of options for you to choose from, so you wont feel pigeonholed at all.  If you have any questions or concerns don't be afraid to ask them here, or send me a private message. Thanks for any and all responses.  (This game will not tolerate any racism/sexism/discrimination/prejudices, all are welcome) (At the minimum players will need a working mic, access to roll20, and discord) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Age: Preferred Pronoun or Gender: Years Experience With Role-playing/General Role-play History: Reason/s Why You Would Like to Play This Game: Favorite Zombie Movie/Show:

Hey Kris, is it correct to assume that your group convenes weekly?

I might have to set up a second game for this, as it seems most people cant make this time.  But I currently have a group of 3 that I can't switch the time for, so I can/will contact you if another time opens up. As for being an alternate, you can drop me a private message and let me know what you had in mind.
