FFG Star War campaign

So I'm getting ready to start running a new Star Wars campaign after the new year.  The campaign will take place about 30 years after the rise of the Empire.  To date, no Death Star has been been revealed.  The game will initially focus more on EotE setting elements (ie. smuggling, bounty hunting, mercenary work, etc.).  How it transitions from their will be entirely player driven.  I'm an experienced GM with over 20 years of RPG experience.  I'm also knowledgeable on FFG Star Wars, and will help anyone who wants to learn. All setting books and materials are available for use (with a special caveat on force users).  I have most of the books, so feel free to ask if you have a question.  Anyone interested should have at least 2 character concepts that they're interested in playing.  You can post your concepts here as a reply, or message me personally if you want your character's concept to be a bit more clandestine.  I'll try and get with each of you to sort out what you'd like, and if you'd be a good fit for the group.  Also, post what days and times you'll be available.  I'll likely try and tailor the game time to the players availability.  This will be a once a week game though.  Try and keep that in mind if you want to join. Now, the caveat on force users.  No one will be starting as a career from F&D.  Anyone wanting to play a force user, will have to pick-up either Force Sensitive Exile, or Force Sensitive Emergent. This is because this setting is a bit later then "A New Hope".  Luke and Leia, aren't a thing.  The Death Star isn't a thing.  The Jedi are gone, and the few who may have survived and hidden away... well you won't be finding them!  You're more then welcome to master the force and restart the Jedi Order, if you wish.  However, you're gonna have to learn the hard way.  Exploring ancient ruins and searching for scraps of information that hasn't been tainted by Imperial propaganda.  All while dodging the Inquisitors!  Good luck.
Hey, I'm looking for a group to start playing with. I have experience playing in person and have a game that's been running for a while, but some of the other members are having scheduling issues so I'm looking for a group to join online. I'm new to online play, so I was wondering what I would need to do to see if I would be a good fit for the campaign you have in mind. My only issue is that I work a rotating schedule so I don't always have the same days off of work every week. Thanks for any info you're willing to offer and hopefully I'll talk to you soon.
Hi, My name is John, and a friend of mine and I are extremely interested in this game. We love SW FFG, and were recently talking of a game similar to this one and would love to play. We like the intro into lower force use. As far as char concepts, we each have a couple of ideas kicking around. He has mentioned pilot, I a slicer or bodyguard type character. We are very well versed in the FFG system and also have a majority of the books. We are very flexible on times, and willing to work with the group to sort out a best time. Please let me know! John

Hey my name is James. I am very keen on being a part of this campaign i will be good most days to play. I have a couple of character ideas one being a brutish character who is force sensitive but tries his hardest to suppress and ignore it and the second being a cunning mercenary.  I will be new to the ffg format though but im keen to learn.
hey hey! My name is Eli but you can call me Dapper instead if you like. I was really interested in your game you advertised on the forums. For character concepts I have a couple that I'd like to try out at some point and I would love to try them out in your game if you'd have me. My availability is any time after 6pm CST for start time on all days except for 7:30PM on Thursdays and 11pm on Fridays and Wednesdays, otherwise I'm completely free on those times. I'm free all day until 11pm on Wednesdays as well if you'd prefer an earlier game. I have several friends I could bring to the game as well if you'd like me to have them throw you an application. I will admit I would like to play a character who goes into the Force Exile or Force Emergent tree (later on in the game)for these campaigns, as I've been in several EotE games and DM'd several EotE and FaD games but never actually got to play a Force sensitive character myself. I'm experienced in all things tabletop and I know the rules of FFG star wars pretty well as you can imagine. My character concepts are as follows: A Falleen noble-scion who was trained in the arts of politics but was deemed "too ugly" by the high standards of Falleen society to act as a politician and developed a natural love for Lore and forbidden histories due to his privileged position in life and the general autonomy granted to his home planet.  Unfortunately, the privileges of birth can only get one so far especially when ones parents believe them to be a failure due to circumstances of birth. So, the boy was exiled out into the wider galaxy after an overly passionate display of emotion brought upon by the poor treatment of his peers and strange, stressful dreams assailing him in his sleep... (Class wise I was thinking of starting as Politico Tree of Colonist and then eventually tapping into Force Exile as the boy unlocks more of his latent potential and uncovers juicy bits of lore, at first for his own curiosity and then for his own instruction. Not likely to want to start up the Jedi Order again though, as the character is far removed from that.) My second character concept: A Togruta Bounty Hunter who'll take any job. He's grizzled and jaded and isn't above taking more down and dirty hired gun work if it means a higher pay check. He has few memories of his past before being adopted by a small family of moisture farmers on the stinkhole known as Tattooine, he would have been content as a younger man to live that life until he passed away peacefully... until the debt collectors came. Apparently, his father had wracked up an insane amount of debt to the local crime families for something.. he never found out what. In the end though, after the rubble stopped smoking and the heat faded, he learned the most important lesson in his life. The only thing that matters in the galaxy is money and blasters. (This concept I have less thought put into but could expand upon if you like.) All character concepts can be re-worked/background edited or swapped with whats appropriate if you like, these are just my first few off-shoot ideas I've had banging around in my head. Please respond to me whenever you get the chance, even if I won't work out for your game just so I can know! Thanks again. My discord is DapperMage#2327, feel free to add me.
I would like to join, I've been looking for a FFG Star Wars campaign for quite a while now. I have a few character ideas as to what I'd play but one that stands out to me most is more of a crazed doctor/medic, think Dr.Zed from Borderlands, they'll heal you but probably make you uncomfortable in the process. Hopefully schedule permits :)

Hello, My name is Steve and I've been searching for Star Wars FFG game for quite some time. Long time tabletop player and DM of multiple rulesets. As I'm work right now this comment is mostly here so I can find my way back to this post later today and submit my character concepts for consideration. Edit: I have added concepts to this post. Availability is Mon, Thursday and Friday anytime after 4pm EST or early Saturdays. Should hopefully have some concepts sent your way in the next few hours.  Character Concepts: 1: A Devaronian who, until recently was employed by a lesser member of a Hutt family on Nar Shadaa. To most he looked like just another hired gun for the cartels, but in actuality he's obsessed with recovering artifacts and relics from older cultures. He's a quick hand with a blaster but even better at assessing the quality of a museum piece and his passion got him deeply interested in what the Hutts might have stored away in their palaces on Nal Hutta. His personal mission was cut short when he was caught "liberating" a piece and he was forced to make a quick getaway, calling in some favors and maybe throwing a few people under the bus on his way out. Now he's looking for a way to clear the bounty on his head, but he's no less curious about what the Hutts might have stashed away.  2: A Nautolan freedom fighter. Growing up watching the Empires pro-human agenda, he decided to do what he could to try and right those wrongs where he could. A talented demolitionist, he managed to get himself into a crew of like minded individuals who spent their time breaking wrongfully imprisoned aliens free throughout the galaxy and retreating to the outer edge when they took too much heat. He's been jailed quite a few times himself but his friends always managed to get him out in return. After a botched mission however, the few remaining survivors from his grew decided fighting the empire wasn't worth their lives and called it quits. He makes his living now selling his explosive talents to whoever needs them so he can get by while searching for a new crew, anyone crossing the empire gets a discount. 3. This last one is unlikely but I figured I'd pitch it. It's for a force sensitive Kaleesh (they don't have an FFG statblock from what I can tell but a few people have homebrewed it). Devout, like most of his species, he one day had a vision of death coming to his tribe and though the details where unclear he could tell he was the reason. Not recognizing this as a force vision, he instead assumes it is a divine mandate from the gods of his people telling him to leave Kalee. Managing to secure a seat on the first transport off his home planet, he's headed into the galaxy without any understanding of what he's looking for.
I've sent you a message, so please let me know if by chance you do not receive a private communication from me, thank you.
Well, I didn't expect this many responses this quickly.  Like I said, I won't be starting the game up till after the new year. I'll start contact each of you individually to narrow down your character concept, and play time availability.  Don't worry if you don't immediately hear from me, I've gotten several private messages as well, and it will take me a few days to get through everyone.  I look forward to hearing from each of you!
Thanks for the reply kind sir :)
Hello, am also interested in playing an FFG star wars game. I bought the dice and F&D book a year ago, but haven't been able to play with anyone XP Hope to hear more information to see if I can play.
