Hi Folks, TL;DR is rolling additional crit damage possible for inline rolls, or are the old forum posts correct in saying it needs api/custom templates? I am trying to create a macro that will automatically roll any additional critical damage when appropriate. I'm playing a hexblade with fire glaive, warcaster and polearm master so it gets complex fast, and adding up all the damage, rerolls and extras like eldritch smite or booming blade really puts the brakes on an encounter. Using an attack template and an inline roll allows for all the damage to be summed up and we can quickly move on. An extreme example of this (which did come up a few sessions ago) was a single attack that comprised of; Fire Glaive (1d10+CHA+2)+(2d6), Life Drinker (+CHA), Hex (1d6), Hexblades Curse (+Prof), Bestow Curse (1d8), Booming Blade (2d8) and then an eldritch smite (5d10). Only I rolled a 19 on the attack and had to roll lots of it again for the crit damage. Thanks
