Vanishing token

When 2 players move the same token, if they do in the same time the token sometimes disappears.  It's not a big problem because we can resolve this easily in game but it's sometimes annoying.
Hey ReilleurTag -  Thanks for the report! However, would you mind further clarifying what you mean by the token "dissapears"? Is the token seemingly removed from the page you are on? Does that occur for both players and the GM? Also, can you further describe how and why both players are using the same token in question? Are they both controlling a neutral object/character/animal or something? Any additional information you can provide is appreciated.
Hello Nicholas, When it dessapears, the token seemingly removed from the page for players AND GM. To answer at your question "why both players are using the same token", this is, for exemple, when we have a non player character (animal, other character for the quest, ...) or an object like a torch, sword, ... . When it dessapears, we are have to search the  token in library and add it to the game. It's not a "serious" problem but I think we can mentionned it.
Hi ReilleurTag -  Thank you for providing those details. To confirm, are you sure you both are only moving the token? Or are you performing any additional interactions with it? Also, what's the frequency of this occurring? Is it pretty rare? Or are you seeing it pretty consistently?
Nicholas,  No problem for those details. Yes, I confirm, when it disappears, we move only the token and nothing else. For the frequency, this is pretty rare because players have only their own token to move (or 2 but the second one can be move by only one player). When one token can be move by two different players and, when we need to take it for an action, if 2 player move it in the same time (or if player 1 takes the token (but no move) and if the player 2 moves it), I have the impression (it's only my opinion) that the token is moving far from the map or go behind all layers. But after moving all the map, we cannit find it. Thanks for your help and involvement, merry christmas for you and have nice holidays. Rei
Hi ReilleurTag -  Hmmm, very strange. Are you able to provide me the exact name or a link to the game in question, please?
Nicholas, The problem is not specific, it can be in my game or an other. I'll try to reproduce this problem in my game, I'll come back to you to tell you what happened (tomorrow or in max 2 days). Rei
Nicholas, I tried, with my friends, to generate the bug in game and I confirm, it is rather rare to see a vanishing token. It is pretty random the moment when the token dissapear when we move it together and in the same time. I don't know how to "generate" it at 100%. If I find something new, I'll update my forum post. Thank you for your involvement. Rei
Hi ReilleurTag -  Yeah, that would be perfect! If you can provide me with some sort of reproduction steps, I'll be able to best present this to our development team for further investigation and/or resolution. However, if you do notice an increased frequency of the issue, I would ask that you please let me know as well. In the meantime, I'll continue to look into this as best as I can. Thank you for your assistance and testing of the issue - we hope you are having a great new year so far! :)
This has happened for us, too. We have several tokens everyone can move so it happened every few sessions or so, but we are quite good now at assigning players to tokens so it is rare now.
Hello Nicholas, Firstly, Happy New year for you (and family, ...) and for all Roll20 Team. I hope this year will be good :) ! Then, for the "reproduction step", you need to be 2 (or 3) in the same game and have a same token to control (for exemple, one is your, the other one is for your friend 1 and the last for your friend 2 but he is absent), during the game, the 2 present players (you and your friend 1) can move the friend 2's token. The goal is to try to move in the same time the common token to reproduce this problem. Try to do this when you have a "big" map with lot of details, layers, ... . At 95% of the case, the common token have a little freeze before to move (no problem) and for the last 5%, it disappear. I will let you know if we have an inceasing frenquency of the problem or if we have an improvement (here or in PM). Rei
