Hello all, i'm looking to set up a Witcher TRPG game to those potentially interested or intrigued in getting into the system and world through an RP standpoint. I'm a relatively new GM by all accounts but want to expand my skills as a game master, as-well as learn the system. I'm experienced with playing Cyberpunk 2020, made by the same developers so I hope I won't uncover anything too rough on the learning process. I consider myself fairly open, opting for a somewhat open world but still vaguely structured in dynamics, where players are fully able to go off the beaten path and explore what they want, with the story still going on. If you deviate from some path choices in story, then it could very well go on without you though. I like to create worlds that move whether or not you do things, keeping as fair as I can, within limits of realism. NPCs have personalities and goals, they will try to do things in the end, not some MMO characters waiting to give you a task. With that in mind, i'm opting for a Mature setting rating for this, but also very open in nature, you can be just about whatever you want, within the limits of the system presented, even if it's a female Witcher for instance, i'll bend around the topic and try to make it interesting. The world will be close to the realities of the Witcher, so expect some dark content involved, it's not a pretty everyone wins everything, you can win...but it can be rough at times, with dark and gritty subject matter. I'm aiming for around 4 to 5 players, max, and can be reached both PMs and by this thread. Feel free to give me your experience if any, what you think you might want to be, and contact information so I can reach you if you're picked for the game. I expect full maturity from the players, but the discord will be lively and open, free to chat and converse, with game time being as in character as possible. Not the most elegant of interest posts, hope to hear from people soon and get something organized!
