HELP! I don't know what i need for this

So i'm looking to get a tablet to be able to play this game when i'm not sitting in front of my desktop. I have no idea how advanced i need the tablet to be, but would kind of like not to spend $800-$1200 + tax on a brand new Ipad Pro (unless it's the Gods gift to gaming)

Hi Zhule - Glad to hear from you! I'm sure someone from the community will be able to give you some good recommendations here. However, since this post isn't about a bug or technical issue, I went ahead and moved it to the Specific Use Questions & Macros sub-forum. Thanks!
Hello Zhule, I think all tablet can be use to play at Roll20, but if you buy an expansive tablet your game can be better. I'm not an expert but I recommend to you the "Galaxy Tab S6" (not very expensive) or "Tab Pro" (if you like the PC and tablet). Generally, you'll need to have good stockage capacity for the different pictures and your personnal work (min 32Go I think it's good), a good resolution and 2Go for your RAM (more I think is no usefull) I repeat, I'm not a tablet expert but I think theses 2 tablets have a good price/quality ratio. Do not hesitate to ask a pro when you want to buy it. Rei PS: I don't know if quote different brands is forbidden, if it is, sorry.

Doesn't the game creator have to have a Plus or Pro subscription for tablet support?

Yes, either the game creator can be a paid subscriber or the player themselves can be: https://wiki.roll20.net/Roll20_Table_on_Tablet_Support
This is "helpful" i think. I'm terrible with trying to find the right stuff, and i'm getting a lot of +1 inch screen = double the price; double the GB= triple the cost. Am i missing something? or is getting a basic ass tablet to use for my game stats (and maybe some light reading), really going to set me back like 400-800 dollars? Hi Zhule, I think the more important think is to find a tablet that you feel confortable with. It's not an obligation to have a big screen, all new tablet function, ... if you feel good with it. Unfortunately, if you want to buy a tablet, you need to pay a little "expensive" prise, it's complicate today to find them with a cost between 100 or 200 dollars. Have you thought about a netbook (cousin to a notebook but smaller)? I have a hp netbook that has a 10 screen and runs windows 10 now. It was designed for streamed movies and such.
