Hello everyone, I've been thinking that a living world/kingdom building game might be fun, and was wondering if there are any others that might be interested in the same thing... Basically, here's my idea. The players are asked to settle a wilderness area, and must build the town or whatever, protecting the area while having other adventures. These adventures would include searches for resources, removing enemies nearby, clearing the area to make it safe, and all other manner of things the DM's may dream up. I'm thinking it would be a mix of living world/west marches/kingdom building. I can see this being a mix of play by post style (asynchronous) and some live sessions (both roll20 and discord), but I do have to say that everything will be text only. That's just my interest, so sorry if that limits others interest. However, since I don't have much in the way of ideas or things nailed down, I'm hoping to find a fellow DM that wouldn't mind helping me build this into a working concept.  I'm hoping that in the future we could expand it to more DM's and more players, where we can hold live sessions when we can and building this world cooperatively. Anyone think this could be fun? Shoot me a PM and we can chat. Edit: Please don't worry if you have a lot or a little experience as a DM. I can help new folks since I've been doing it for many many years. Also, just someone with creativity and some willingness to help in the process and the organization would be awesome. Thanks
It's been a few weeks since I thought about this, but thought I might throw it back out. With the proliferation of west marches style games I thought that style might fit with this idea as well. It seems a bit overwhelming so anyone that has interest in world building, DMing or any of that kind of stuff I'm still looking for a co-pilot to help me manage something like this.
