My name is Kent and I'm looking to run a one shot this Sunday Jan 5th at 7 PM EST. The game will last around 4 hours. My goal is to run the players through a home brewed adventure and if we end up working well together, discussing an ongoing game. Are you interested in playing in a game where your character and the others in your party are actual parts of the world that you're adventuring in? Where your actions really matter and have consequences beyond the immediate moment? As a DM, I'm looking for players who will be invested in their characters, the others in the party and in the world. My goal is to tell a story that all members of the group have a vested interest in. A bit about the world Low Magic (spell casters are still playable characters, a majority of the population does not use magic or magic items in their daily lives. Magical healing is expensive/rare and Resurrection is non-existent.) Dark, Gritty tones (This isn't a light-hearted, Tolkien-style save the world adventure where the good guys always triumph. The one shot and the game itself are going to be dark and gritty, with characters facing almost insolvable moral dilemmas where the lines between good and evil are blurred. The world itself is home-brewed and will be using the forgotten realms pantheon. Looking for players who are Mature 21+ years old Have a decent quality microphone. Individuals with an interest in deep role play. Power/meta gamer's and murderhobos need not apply. Players who are interested in working and playing with a team, lone wolfs need not apply. The goal is to run this homebrew one shot two or three times, until I find the 4 or 5 people who are interested in the same type of TTRPG experience that I am and then discussing an ongoing campaign. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/126441/arkums-hope Click HERE to apply.
