This Game Is LGBTQ Friendly and Starts At Level 5 Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can, while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the small folk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive cloud giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Where is the storm giant King Hekaton, who is tasked with keeping order among the giants? The humans, dwarves, elves, and other small folk of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot by the onslaught of these giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the giants’ weapon against their ancient enemies, the dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the giants’ own power against them. "Do we have to use the word small folk Omen?" Viari said glancing at his CEO Omen Dran. "I mean Halflings and Gnomes do exist out there. It seems a little outdated to me." "Duly noted, replace small folk with shareholders." Omen said half glancing at his employe. "Make sure to get that out to the press before dawn so everyone knows the grave threat at hand." "Sir, this is...a bit much, isn't it? I mean the attacks haven't been that bad all things considered. Stealing some food, roughing up some people, and looting a few towns? Why give the public a press release like this?" Viari asked finishing up the final edits. "Because Viari...they stole from me." Omen said picking up his maul. "Get a team up to speed and send them to the town of Red Larch. Take them on our 3rd best blimp and for Tymora's sake, please pick some competent employees." Viari nodded and watched Omen walk out with a confident stride. Looking around quickly he began pulling a few names out from recent Acquisitions Incorporated intern applications. Sure they were a few years old but they would have to do. The newest batch of interns had turned out a bit more...crispy after testing them. Hopefully, Omen wouldn't notice, he never remembers their names anyways. ------------------------------------------ Welcome intrepid heroes, to a crossover campaign: Acquisitions Incorporated vs Storm Kings Thunder! Now you might be asking yourself a few questions! Why mix a classic adventure like Storm Kings Thunder with a new comedic sourcebook like Acquisitions Incorporated? Well, I love campaigns that take themselves seriously and all, but I adore fun campaigns the most. Storm King's Thunder is, by all means, a very serious campaign but if you put Acquisitions Incorporated alongside it? There is suddenly a feeling of freedom for the players. They don't have to have the most serious backstory in existence and can have really fun creating what they want. I'm here for not only my enjoyment but for my player's enjoyment. The main story hook that we're going to be using is that Red Larch, a town near Waterdeep has been robbed by Giants and they have taken property of Acquisitions Incorporated a Sword Coast adventuring company. Omen Dran, head CEO of said company, has placed one of his employee's Viari in charge of recruiting a team of employee's to investigate. All of the current disposable interns are dead due to certain spicy circumstances so he has to dig through past applications and re-hire some people the company passed over for whatever reason. For character creation, the standard rules apply, anything from Wizards of the Coast can be used. Unearthed Arcana may...also be used. Yeah, incredible right? You found the one ad on here that actually allows all of that stuff. Third-party material by Kobold Press is also fine since I own most of their books on Roll 20. We will be using Discord for voice chat and then Roll 20 for our actual game. If you wish to apply please do so here!
