I'm a veteran DM and have been DMing for almost a decade now. My current campaign, Champions of the Unknown, has 4 players currently and we just recently lost 2 players due to real life issues. They will not return for the foreseeable future and after asking my players, they weren't against getting additional players. As a result, I am looking for 1-2 players to help fill in the gap that they left. The players are currently in the city of Ordulin, I have taken a few ideas or characters from a few games that I've played (though they aren't a direct rip as I've only taken about two characters from the game and the concept of that game). At the moment they are tasked with checking out strange disappearances taking place within the sewers of the city and are at the moment level 4 and consist of a Wizard, Ranger, Barbarian, and Warlock. I have a stat roll macro in the game itself and everything done with the characters will need to be done within the game itself. Your imagination is the limits (within reason) as far as character background goes. You are not *required* to have a background when you join, however if you turn one in I can do a 1 on 1 session with you which might grant you something extra such as a bonus feat, special item, or other such curio. You will be starting with 5,000 gold to spend as you wish. You can either send me a list of items you wish to obtain and I can inform you as to their availability, or we can rp it out and you can go to each shop and interact with the store owners of the town. Your reasoning for adventuring is your own, I will not force anything upon you, however should you wish to be more directly involved with the city itself that they are in I can help you with that as well. As for content allowed, so long as it can be found in an official book, and you can direct me to that book, you are allowed to use it. I would caution you on making a min-maxed character as my combat encounters are balanced around everything the party is capable of and not everyone min-maxes. That isn't to say don't do it entirely, just be careful if you do as you could be unintentionally raising the difficulty of encounters. Session Time: 7:30 P.M. Tuesday PST, Weekly Voice is done over discord. Reply here or Message me directly with any questions, comments, or concerns you might have.
