Hi there, I'm Map and I'm an experienced D&D 5e Dungeon Master looking to branch out my horizons to other games. I've looked at a few so far, Witcher RPG and Star Wars d20, but this one I'm super into. Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition. The thing I love about it so much is that its light on the rules for mechanics, and focuses more on strong story elements, roleplay, investigation, and sheer horror. I'm a huge fan of cosmic horror like H.P. Lovecraft's works, and other more modern frights like creepypastas and SCPs. Since I'm new to it, before getting into any homebrew I'm going to run a quick game from the book called "Amidst the Ancient Trees". This will likely be 2 or 3 sessions, based on the material given to me, but might be a bit longer depending on roleplay and overall group pacing.
