[Survey] Your Roleplaying Habits

Hello Roll20! (I sincerely hope this is the correct forum to post this in, otherwise feel free to move it, or delete the thread.) I am currently working on my bachelor thesis in Digital Marketing and I would like to obtain some data in terms of what kind of demographic we have in the Roleplaying community, and how many of us play online vs. how many of us play offline. I'm also aiming to create a low-fidelity prototype/mock-up of an app concept which is suppose to help people who are having problems finding groups for offline games, so there's a few questions about what kind of features you would consider important and the possibility to suggest features too. My general thinking is a sort of Tinder, but for Table-top games. The survey is completely anonymous and should only take 5-10min to complete. In your question, which tools do you use (roll20, fantasy grounds, etc), the question doesnt allow for multiple answers. I use roll20 and maptool, for example.  Also, for your app, I'd think long and hard about whether you want to allow rating players, and how that will be implemented to avoid it being manipulated, especially (but not only) for the purpose of discriminating against women and marginalised groups. If you are considering this, great! On the other hand, if you don't agree with the need for care in this area, or even recognise the inherent danger it presents, you shouldn't be making an app of this sort.

I haven't been using google forms that much, so I didn't quite catch the multiple answers problem, that should be fixed now. As for rating players, yes, I am very aware that it could create huge problems and allow for discrimination against certain groups if incorrectly implemented. For the purposes of the thesis, however, I need to back up my potential design choices with data and so I thought it would be an interesting question to ask. Even it there was support for such a feature in the survey, however, I would be highly hesitant to pursue that particular feature for the reasons you so correctly listed, and that it is very much NOT my intention to discriminate against other people.
