[LF2P][PF1E][FREE][Weekly] Looking for two experienced, highly roleplay focused players for an upcoming Hell's Rebels AP.

Hey folks, as per the title, we are recruiting two players for an upcoming Hell's Rebels AP.  We are starting it fresh.  For those not in the know, it is a level 1-17 adventure focused on intrigue and rebellion in infernal Cheliax.  Currently planning play around 5:00pm EST until 9:00pm EST (2:00 to 6:00 PST) every Tuesday.  The start time changes a bit week to week depending on when the GM gets out of work, so sometimes we may start half an hour earlier.  When the campaign actually begins depends entirely on when we can recruit players and have them make characters--we're currently anticipating about three weeks from this coming Tuesday (so around February 4th).  The GM already has the game mostly prepped and the players currently in the game have their characters made though, so if our newcomers can make characters they're satisfied with, we may be able to start sooner--but we care more about quality than speed, so no rush is necessary. Most of the current group has been playing together for several years now, but due to a change in game day we have new openings available.  Our GM is absolutely incredible with the stories he weaves.  The more you give him, the more he gives you back sprinkled throughout the campaign.  Two of our players have about two decades each worth of tabletop experience under their belts.  Our third player has been with us for a little over four months now and is proving to be just our style of role-play fanatic.  =)  We often joke that our games progress in slower than real time--so expect a tremendous amount of role-play. What we're looking for:  two dedicated players who are in it for the long haul.  We're talking weekly sessions for what could wind up being a couple of years.  We want people who are deeply invested in their own characters, the rest of the party, and the story as a whole.  Our group is very keen on collaborative storytelling, so it is important that everyone works together to weave our collective stories.  Maturity is absolutely important as we often deal with heavy, dramatic topics and issues.  We wish to keep all of our drama in-character and have been very good at keeping it so thus far.  We are a very open minded and non-judgemental group of players and are looking for the same.  Experience with Pathfinder 1E is preferred, but not required.  Likewise it is helpful if players already have knowledge of Golarion and the Inner Sea Region, but is also not required.  The most important thing of all is that you are able and willing to immerse yourself in the story and play your character.  This game is not combat heavy, and based on our current party make-up, is likely to be highly social and intrigue focused.  Please note that, due to our focus on role-play, we may go sessions at a time with no combat and may level up very slowly compared to the norm.  We are not asking for any money to play with us, but in return we expect you to be as committed to the group as we are.  This means rarely (if ever) missing sessions, showing up early and prepared, and staying in communication on Discord.  If you must miss a session, we expect advanced notice unless it is an emergency--we often cancel sessions if even one player is missing since everyone is important to the story. Applicants may post either in this thread or send me private messages.  Everything you send to me will be shared with the rest of the group--I am not the GM.  Please pitch yourselves as players rather than as characters; characters can come later.  Include your favorite role-playing anecdotes, the sorts of things you look for/expect in a game, your level of experience, what knowledge you may have of Golarion, any APs you may have run in the past, and any other relevant details you can think of.  Convince us that you're the kind of player we want to play with for the months or years to come.  We'll be as loyal to you as you are to us.  Please feel free to ask any questions you have as well.  We're looking forward to hearing from you!
We're still accepting applications for this game.
Hi there Outlaw! I'm looking for a long date group to re-start playing RPG, so your group looks nice! Just one thing, I'm not experienced in Pathfinder 1e at all (mostly DnD 5E and 3,5), so I might need a bunch of refereences to get started I guess? Anyway, I'm definitely interested in playing this game! Thank you for your time and attention.  My discord is Inquisitor#8262
Hello there Outlaw, seeing as this would be I think the second group (or the same first one I don't know) Then I was wondering, what exact information do you need? I've been playing 5E for a long while as well as listen to some podcasts for it and 4E. I am able to stick with the group and be dedicated because the time picked would be great for my end. and I am able to make up a character on the spot that won't be a basic human fighter. All I need is just to know what else you and the rest of your group need me to provide first of course. If you need my discord I could give it for further discussion.
Hey there Artur and Ray.  Thank you for your interest.  Experience in Pathfinder isn't 100% necessary, though it would make a lot of things easier of course.  The good news is that you have experience with D&D, and especially with 3rd edition.  Pathfinder is considered by many to essentially be 3.75, so you're likely already quite familiar with the rule set.  Pathfinder 1E's greatest strength is also it's greatest weakness--that it has a vast array of options and configurations.  The only real tricky thing here is that you'd have a lot to process relatively quickly in order to get started, but so long you're willing to work with some of the folks in the game, we could theoretically help get your character made and ready, assuming you joined us. I will reiterate that this is a very role-play focused group.  There may be comparatively few combat encounters that you may see in our game (maybe once every few sessions), especially with the plans the current players have in place.  That doesn't mean there won't be situations where you will be using class abilities, skills, or other mechanics, but if you're looking to have a traditional tabletop experience this won't be it.  We're looking for dedicated players that can really immerse themselves in the game, get into character, and collaborate with the other players to create a story.  If this is of interest to you, then please submit the requested information from the post to me either here or via private message, which ever is your preference. Thanks again!
Well I'm just asking, because I know I can be dedicated to the game, I just need to know what exact information you want, I know it is a dumb as hell question but I am just making sure I don't give the wrong things.
From my post:  Please pitch yourselves as players rather than as characters; characters can come later.  Include your favorite role-playing anecdotes, the sorts of things you look for/expect in a game, your level of experience, what knowledge you may have of Golarion, any APs you may have run in the past, and any other relevant details you can think of. Essentially, we'd like to know why we should take you over others.  We need to be a bit exacting to make sure that we speak with the right people, as we're hoping to play together for a very long time.  We just don't want to waste your time or ours if things don't seem like they'll work.
Okay, well I’m Ray. A bit of a loner with the first 3 books that has been playing D&D for a while now. I’ve been trying to get into a long standing game with others so that I may be able to be a bit more social as actually say I have a group of friends that play D&D, though I may not seem like a lot at the moment I’m able to do a voice interview later in the day to try and prove more of my worth to the group. It’s fine if your group doesn’t want me since someone else will most likely deal with me and find me a group to stay in. I don’t know what else to say besides that I tried. It wasn’t the best but it was something
Alright Ray, thank you again for your interest.  I'll pass your information on to the group.  We'll be in touch in the next few days if we'd like to set up a conversation between you and everyone else.
Thank you for the chance
