I stream a D&D channel format on twitch and currently looking to start a new story campaign in a world from my writing. The role would entail being present once a week for the session, being able to stay 3 to 4 hours depending on story engagement and comfortable and ok with being streamed on Twitch. At present I will be the only one using a web cam but if we try to expand to using web cams for all, that might be an option later on down the road but not something to expect right away. Just to be aware of the possibility. I have been streaming for nearly 2 years now and starting to gain traction with our Open RP with viewers on Friday nights. This in itself is fun to run but at the same time I want to provide a stable story for set in characters. I'm reaching out not only here but through my open RP sessions as well for players who I might feel would be perfect to join. What I'm looking for in a player: Someone who at least understands that what I'm doing is creating content not only for the player but for viewers as well. Someone who can respect balance in turns and sharing spot light as needed. Someone who's main intention is not to break the game in a way that's only fun for them. A game consist of fun being had on all sides from Players to DM alike. If there's no fun being had, being able to talk about it in a constructive way after sessions would be most invited. At this time the slots for when these games take place are open to be negotiated. Current time slot though is at Monday 7-11 pm central. Stop time usually being at 10:30. Players would be requested to show up a good 15 mins earlier in order to discuss Last week, this week, and any story elements they had questions on. Also sound check to make sure the stream will be properly streaming and our sound quality is perfect for the viewers. Another thing I ask of my players as requirements: Be over the age of 18, have a set up where your mic doesn't pick up your speakers (Preferabbly a mic and a headset set up) and that the mic doesn't crackle or on the verge of breaking. Meetings will be set up with your time frame in mind. You'll be invited to the discord channel of our stream where you can talk to other viewers and players who enjoy the Open RP Friday events and you yourself can take part of that as well. It could even be a way to test the waters to see if you want to join a full campaign without fully committing.
