Token to Represent Spiritual Weapon

I know this is a very basic question and I apologize.   How do I represent a spiritual weapon spell on the map? Do I just create a token like a character, and add it as if it were a Monster, or NPC?

If it gets used a lot, it might be worth linking it to a character sheet so that whoever has the spell can drag out the token on their own.  If it isn't used that much, then just having a token in a convenient spot in your art library is probably sufficient.  I'm not sure what system you are running, but it attacks based on the caster's stat in Pathfinder 1, so we have the attack built into the spell.  Since the attack is rolled from the caster, there is no need of any macro assigned to the spiritual weapon token. Might just need to try a couple things and see what you prefer.

[Removed by moderator] It is generally bad form to hijack another unrelated thread.  I'm also fairly certain I answered this question on Reddit.  I'll post it again here in case that wasn't you. The normal way to drop a token is this: 1: Go to your journal and find the name of your character (this does not require your character sheet to be open). 2: Drag the name (not the 3 bars that may appear when you mouse over the name) from the journal listing to the map. 3: This should drop a token to the map, or the portrait from the Bio & Info tab if your DM hasn't assigned a token. Does that work for you?
Thank you for the replies.  I just dragged an image onto the map. It became a token. I keep it off to the side until the cleric (inevitably) casts the spell. I have given that player permission to control it. He places it where he wants and now he doesn't forget that he cast the spell.
