Looking for 4e game. NEW player!

I am new to d&d. I've been reading the rule books and looking alot up online as far as how to dm and get a game going. I've been on roll20.com for about a month and a half trying to find a game and learn. It seems like most people pick more experienced players over new ones so it's been a challenge. I am very eager and dedicated to try to get involved. If you have an on going game or you're starting one shoot me a message about joining up. Also I am EST. Thanks
I have played a few games and would like to join you sometime. what time works best for you?
I am also a new player to the 4e and Roll20 systems. I do have experience with SWSE which is a similar system so mechanics should not be a problem. Preferably day times during the week work best for me.
well we would need to find a DM to run the game for us
Hopefully we can get one soon. really itching to play.
Hey there guys, I've got a 3.5 campaign set up and ready to go whenever if you'd be interested. It'll be a free choice type of game where you can do whatever you want within reason. (be warned all actions have consequences.) Everyone will be starting at level 1 and using the point buy system. Feel free to pm me if interested. Here is the basic setting In a world where ambitions, luck and perseverance will allow you to become wealthy and live a good life or doom you to squalor; there is a distinct line between the citizen, merchant and noble classes. Illegal trade runs rampant, smugglers, slavers and bandit groups are increasing in numbers, taxes are rising and corruption is spreading like a disease. The town of Ostwald is in the center of this continent and the largest city of commerce. It is here where one may make their fortune or lose everything. Everything has a price; be it freedom, novelties, favors, secrets or even life itself. Starting here, you will begin your adventure and decide your own fate.
Just a question, how much different is 3.5 compared to 4e.
total rewrite
I am willing to play while I learn to use roll20 better before GMing games

I would have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of the 3.5 players handbook. As I said I am new to roll20 and the 4e/3.5 dnd setting. I am a quick learn so that shouldn't be a problem. Now I have to check out some of our used book stores. Sounds Exciting though. Is there any specific setting or is the Players Handbook all I would need?

same. i might try to pick up a 3.5 handbook to just to have the basic idea how to play that edition for future games.
Well I found one at half priced books, only one they had too. Must be my lucky day. Now to read through and try my hand at making a test character to see if I can.
<--- selling 3.5 books... never playing that any more
i might stop by coliseum comics. they should have a copy.
I think I have a handle on the Character Creation, and a basic grasp of the system in general. I think if I get to particioate I would select a Fighter or Barabarian, seeing how it is my first play. THat way I can learn without having to worry about magic for the first time.

D&D 4e game here . I just answered a members question about their campaign not showing up (syncing and all that jazz) but it is now listed. He is taking interviews for his game. Thought I would just drop that in here as people posted they were looking for a game. I know nothing about the gm or the game so good luck.
