NPC tokens not autopopulating their bars

So I have figured out how to use SRD content to create quick and easy mooks.  Awesome feature! However, despite me having my game settings set to link bar 1 with "hp", bar 2 with "npc_ac" and bar 3 with "passive_wisdom", when I link a token to a specific creature, nothing shows as linked.  What am I doing wrong?

Yep - Roll20 OGL 5E sheet. 

Those auto fill settings refer to Compendium drops, not a manual token setup. So a Minotaur dragged in from the compendium will be properly linked. Note that if you already  have a previously created version of a creature that you have made alterations to (say you gave all of your goblins hand crossbows), a compendium drag will place an instance of your edited version on the board (so as not to overwrite local homebrew).

So is there a way to make say... 10 bandits all at once?

Almost certainly. But I'm not sure what you are actually asking. Do you want to set up a bandit token so that you can drag 10 of them out of your journal tab? Yes Do you want to be able to drag 10 of them out of your Compendium tab? Yes. Note that unless you have purchased the monster manual, or previously set up a bandit toke in your journal tab, tokens dragged from the compendium will not have associated art.
