Trying to upload a map

Hello all, I am fairly new to Roll20 and have a question about importing/uploading maps. I have a .png file that is 28.4mb and is 9150x7351. When I go to up load it it just sits there and does nothing. My questions are: Is there a max dimension of the image? Is there a max size of the image? What else might be my issue? Frank

For Plus and Pro subscribers, the max image size is 10MB. See here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Art_Library#Uploading_Art Unless you are using transparency in the map, making it a PNG creates needless size. Try saving it as a JPG instead. Even when saving as a JPG you can probably cut the quality (and the filesize) without changing the apparent quality to the naked eye. See some suggested best practices here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Best_Practices_for_Files_on_Roll20
Yeah, I did try the .jpg and it happened to work. I was looking through the wiki but I just could not find info about map sized. I guess they call it Art. Good to know. Yeah, I am a fan of .jpg because of how you can lower the quality without losing how good it looks. Thanx for the quick response.
