22+ year Experienced DM looking for 6 players to join a new Friday
night weekly campaign starting asap once party is established. Play
hours will be ruffly around 7pm-1am EST. (trying for 7pm-12am) give or
take depending on group majorities time frame. Campaign will be D&D
using the 3.5 rule set in the Forgotten Realms in the Savage Frontier
region and will take place prior to the Time of Troubles when all the
gods are still around. The campaign will be Free to Play and will stay
that way. I'm looking for players that are mature, team focused,
contributors in game, role-players (or at least willing to try) and just
want to have fun. What I'm not looking for are players that like to hog
the spotlight, selfish or just want to ride the back of the bus while
others do all the work. If your idea of fun is min/maxing your player
character to break the game then do not apply, this game will not be for
you. My campaign will be heavily story told and will play out
like a novel with the exception the players dictate that story from
start to finish. I am a story teller at heart and like to bring that
story to life with players altering its course. My campaigns are not
cookie cutter, bread crumb, "this path only" type campaign but gives
players a sense of freedom to do what they wish within a main story line
riddled with many side adventures, quests, politics, intrigue, puzzles,
personal side quests for players background stories and yes city
building if the players so choose just to name a few aspects of the
campaign. I also make and use maps, encounter maps, dungeon/city/
maps that I have custom designed personally for my campaigns that are 2d
but look 3d with lot's of detail from software I use that helps save
time describing the area the players are in since the description is
visually there. Players will start out at level 1 with an amazing role
playing start that makes sense as to why the players ran into each other
