Drag and drop images not working.

Every time I drag and drop an image from a desktop folder to a Roll20 table it gives me a circle with a line through it.  What I've tried: Reloading Chrome Refreshing the Window Rebooting the Computer. I can drag items from Roll20 to the Roll20 table just not images from my desktop or folder. I've tried different images file types along with sizes. This a new problem since the recent Roll20 update. Anyone else having this problem?

I guess I've never tried to drag & drop things direct like that.  Hmm, I just did and it worked for me (on Firefox).  Does the upload button work in your art library or in the image field of a handout or character sheet?

Yeah, I can upload, but the way I run games I need the ability to drag and drop images onto the table as I play. Worked before the latest update. Very odd.

Have you tested with Firefox?It might be a Chrome issue.

I went through all of these. A few days later things were back in working order. Thank you for all your help everyone.

I take my words back. Still not working. 1. I have always used Chrome with no issues. 2. I have tried them all on (which has always worked) and now all off. I also haven't added any new add ons. 3. Cache cleared and PC rebooted. When I drag an image to the screen it just turns the Roll20 tab into a tab with the image in it.

Are you verifying that you are dragging over the VTT area, and not onto one of the tabs or other interface elements? I'll get that result if I miss the "drop" area. Do you see a "plus" icon appear just before you let go? (Chrome does this but not Firefox, at least on Mac). The "Plus" should not appear.

Back to having this problem again where its a circle with a line through it when I drag from a folder to the table. I've cleared the cache. Turned off extensions. Rebooted the PC Updated chrome.  No matter what I can't drag images to the table. It's been happening on and off since December.

Sometimes turning off extensions does not really turn them off. Have you tried with an Incognito session? Also, can you try it in Firefox to see if it does the same thing? That can help isolate if the problem is with Chrome or something with your computer, your account, your game, or the images. I know you say you have always used Chrome with no problem, but Chrome software changes and Roll20 software changes, so that might no longer hold true. Edit: I also assume you have checked your Storage Quota?
